SOURCE: Problem when dialing phone

Yes, I have had nothing but trouble with my V-Tech ia5823.
Slow to dial, dropping out going calls and now the base light is flashing at a rapid pace and will not charge the handset.
I want to return it to Wal-Mart but have misplaced the recepit.
I will never buy another V-Tech..Uniden is the way to go!

SOURCE: Phones stopped working. They only read

I'm not familar with the Vtech but I would suspect that all 4 units work off of the answering machine base. It sounds like it is seeing a dial tone.
Take a working phones like the wall phone, if it is easily removed, and use a known good connecting cable between the good wall phone and the jack that the Vtech is plugged into.
If that works, take the connecting cable loose and replace it with the Vtech connecting cable. If that works check the jack on the Vtech for crossed wire. If non found, connect it to the jack the wall phone was plugged into. If this doesn't provide satisfaction, let me know exactly what you did and what happened and we will go from there.

first step is to unplug all power and phone connections from the wall for all Vtech phones and bases.

Second, plug each set and base in the wall for power one at a time.

Go back to the basics and pair the handset with the base of the unit.

Do this for all sets one at a time.

You will probably have to call your phone provider and request the number be blocked, that's the only surfire way.

Why does my iPhone 5c vibrate instead or ring?

You need to increase the volume from just vibrate to ring. You may also have slid, the tiny almost impossible to see switch on the top left hand side, and pushed to the vibrate only position. This tiny slide switch is useful if the phone goes off during a performance and you need to silence it immediately. Unfortunately, it is small and easy to switch on and off accidently, and many people do not seem to notice that has been switched. In one position, it will silence the ring and your phone will only vibrate. The other, the phone operates normally. I think it is a big design flaw on the Apple phones.

I am trying to figure out if i have a silencer ring on my turbo in my truck

Hi ,

It is easy to figure out silencer ring

A silencer ring is a metal baffle placed into the turbocharger inlet to reduce whistle from the turbocharger. It is installed in Ram truck engines at the request of Chrysler. The silencer ring has no effect on engine output, EGT, or boost levels. It does significantly reduce high frequency turbo whistle

On Removal: Remove the flex hose from the front of the turbo that goes to the breather. Just inside the turbo, you will see a snap ring that looks like a piston ring(charcoal color), very gently with a small flat blade screw driver, lift one end of the snap ring out of the groove, then continue to work around the snap ring, lifting it out of the groove. When the snap ring has been removed, you can easily remove the silence ring. You may want to keep the snap ring and silencer together in a plastic bag in case you get tired of the extra whistle.
