Call your exPontiac dealer Buicks share a lot of parts with Pontiac, call the parts department an see if they have a fix, I imagine you'll have to buy a whole new cable. You can try a bone yard but you'll end up with the same thing eventually.
I think the cable is molded into the little plastic piece. see if you can see the end of the cable. see if it looks like it broke, or was cut. if not, the molding came undone, and the cable pulled from the anchor in the plastic thing.
Radio Shack, Fry's or any major audio electronics store. I have also seen them in Lowe's and Home Depot in CA. Make sure the in line fuse is the same size as your previous one. Don't buy the el-cheapo socket plugs... they will melt over time Buy hard plastic vs soft plastic type. A couple of dollars more is not worth the damage the soft plastic plugs can cause.
Honestly I am not familair with this item however, this rod ould appear to be a drive line, being plastic it may be reapirable with a $6 plastic repair kit, it is in a syringe that adds part1 and 2 then you mix it and let it set, it works very well, however, it broke for a reason, find out why first as this may be a futile effort.
Lastly, your Honda dealer or European dismantler should be able to supply this piece.
Good luck
I have the same coffee maker & mine carafe broke too, The Carafe is $10.95 incl. shipping & handling, you will need to call Maxi-Matic customer service @ 626-912-9877 & they will e-mail you a order form to fill out. Hope this help.
If you still have your manual to this unit I bet the manufacturer has a website that you can order from. If you don't have your manual then you can google the manufacturer for their website and order a new one there. I always keep my maunals for this reason. I hope this helps.
