Fault to the main power supply regulator section. Either it will be a separate board, or the part of main board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.

These had issues with the power supply. Capacitors will "vent" causing voltages to run low.

If the remote works for the set, both it and the buttons on the set go to the same place in these sets.
The Keyboard with the manual buttons may have a lockout feature--it can be locked to prevent children etc from tampering with the controls.
If no function from remote, that could be same issue or another==key board has priority over the remote control.
if all else fails carefully read the owner manual.

I would suspect a bad capacitor on the power board. They dont always show any outward sign of being bad. The only way to test is with a ESR meter . I would reccomend replaceing the caps on the power board just to rule that out if you dont have access to test with a ESR meter. You have to keep the uf rating exact on the replacements but the voltages can be higher but not lower than the caps your replacing.
