How do I unlock the "control lock"

i had a problem similar to this but i was getting an error code on my display. it turned out the board was bad. you may want to try to do this yourself because it cost me almost double when the repair man came. i don't remember the part # but you could search it. i believe you just remove the front face of the washer also. to unlock the door there is a release switch in the bottom near the door handle. if you have a pedestal you have to remove the drawer or remove the bottom panel if you don't.

121 MINUTES USUALLY DRAIN CYCLE PLZ REMOVE 3 BOTTOM PANEL SCREWS 7 MM SCREWS, TO OPEN DOOR SLIDE RIGHT HAND TOWARDS DOOR LOCK ,THERE WILL BE A SMALL LEVER TOO PULL DOWN ,NOW ITS OPEN,,, SINCE U HAVE BOTTOM PANEL OFF PUMP IS RIGHT IN FRONT REMOVE PLASTIC HOUSING CLOCKWISE ,,,REMEMEBER HOLD 3 GALLONS OF WATER STILL ,HAVE BUCKET READY ,NOW CLEAN OUT PUMP AND DEBRIS ,, CLOSE IT UP SHOULD BE FINE NO MORE PROBLEMS ,,,,,

Code rL or F34 --> Load detected in machine at the beginning of the clean cycle. Push stop, remove clothes from washer & try again. Mine did this to me, even though there was nothing in the washer. I just tried it a second time & all is good again.

Press and hold the DRAIN & SPIN button until the Control Locked light goes out. You will likely have to hold this button at least 3 deliberate seconds, maybe as long as 10 seconds to disable the control lock.
