No longer displays any data, i.e. date, time, location on display screen. Does not change when there in an incoming call.

Try plugging it into a different jack. If there's no change, the phone is bad. If it works ok, the port in the phone system is bad. Switch it to a spare port, if available.

First, you have to Enable Customer Programming. - With handset on-hook, dial #06. The display shows [MMC DISABLED]. - Dial the passcode and '1' and then dial #. (If you don't know the password try 1234, 4321, 9999, etc.) At this point, customer programming is open... Next, Setting the date and time. - Dial #55. Display shows [YY MM DD W HH MM]. - Dial new information as follows: YY = Last two digits of the year MM = Month (01-12) DD = Day of the month (01-31) W = Day of the week (1-7; week begins on Monday (1) and ends on Sunday (7)) HH = Hour (use 24 hour clock) MM = Minutes (00-59) - Dial # to set current date and time. The phone returns to normal use.

How to set date and time on Canon FAX-L350

Maek sure machine is switched on and there is a display showing.
1. Open the 'one-touch' speed dial panel (plastic flap to right of main number keys)
2.Press the key 'data registration' The display will show "REGISTRATION 1. DATA REGISTRATION"
3. Press 'Set' key twice (lower right key on grey centre panel area). The display will show "DATA REGISTRATION 1. USER SETTINGS" after the first key press, then "USER SETTINGS 1. DATE & TIME" after the second key press.
4. Press 'Set' again, then use the numeric buttons to type in the correct date and time - you should get something like 11/01 2009 and 16:09 in the display (use 24 hr clock for the time).
5.Press 'Set' to save the date and time the display will show "USER SETTINGS 2. UNIT TELEPHONE #"
6. Press the 'Stop' key to return tot he machine's normal 'standby mode' .
7. Print off this webpage so that you can remember how to change the time for daylight saving time changes etc... or int hee vent of a power cut.

Lost the time and date line in the display

Unplug the phone, wait one minute, then plug it back in and see if the display comes back on. Press the program button, press 22 on the dial pad, press program button again ( if the phone is ringing on the incoming call and not just flashing).
