Can your computer connect to the internet? If it can, it just means that you have a wired internet connection and not a wifi connection on the computer, which means your iPad is just connected to your home network via wifi. You can try forgetting your network and then joining it again by going to settings, WiFi, the network you are on, then "forget this network", then find it again and join it. If that doesn't work, then you could reset all your network settings by going to your settings, general, reset, then press "Reset Network Settings".
