My camera also says that my batteries are low seconds after installing new batteries. Strange. The camera is a good little cam for the price but when I hook it to my computer to use as a webcam..it still needs batteries. Why dont this run off the computer power? The cam takes great pictures..just dont spend a lot of time searching through features or watching vid clips or reviewing your pics...eats the batteries like crazy. I must be missing something..no way this is right. My camera also says that my batteries are low seconds after installing new batteries. Strange. Hi.. this is a common problem. Can be resolved by cleaning your battery terminal in your camera. Open the battery compartment and take a look at the terminals. Are they dirty??? If so use a qtip and isopropyl alcohol. That should do the trick. If not then let me know.
I Have The Same Exact Camera As You And Have lost of Experience With Digital Cameras I'm Guessing you just need digital camera compatible batteries (Rechargeable) Oh and keep in mind taking a picture requires a lot of energy use
Hey GClooney, Most cameras come with a 1 year manufacturers warranty so the first camera is most likely covered by this and I would have it looked at by an authorized service technician. If you dropped you Polaroid a300 camera then there is most likely internal damage and that should also be addressed by an authorized service technician. I will say that digital camera repairs often exceed the value of the camera, but the first camera repair would most likely be covered by its warranty. I hope this helps! Sincerely, Allan Go Ahead. They're both the same kind of cord..just wanted to give you a selection. I have the A300 as well so I know what the cord looks like. You can get it on Ebay or go to a computer store(or a Wal-Mart) and buy it...make sure to look for "Mini USB"(the small end of the cord)..and make sure the other end looks like a regular USB(USB 2.0).
SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card. If the switch is already in the proper position, slide it fully the other way and then back again.
