remove the bottom panel below tha door. youll see the drain pump in the center, fronr of washer. there is a black hose going from the pump to the bottom of the tub. remove that hose. at the end of the hose there is a plastic ball that is supposed to seal the end of the hose. more than likely there is lint build up on the ball or around where the ball seal. clean the ball and the hose and reinstall. you should be fine after that

Hot water stops flowing intermittently from tub faucet

Newer tub faucets have a anti-scald feature. It normally looks like a piece of plastic dial just above or below The tub handle. It could be that your water set too hott and he scald valve shuts off the hot water only

I have a Maytag Neptune washer (model MAH5500BWW) that won't completely drain. It goes through the normal cycles but, but water still remains in the tub. Could the pump be out and how can you tell if...

Check the pump out flow of the drain hose, is it a good strong flow or does it seem weak and restricted. If the drain is slow the machine will stop before it is empty. Also if the drain hose is not vented, mounted too high in the air, or has a piece added on making it longer, it may degrade performance.

Water keeps flowing does not stop---does not go thru cycles

You probably pinched the water fill hose that comes up from under the tub when you closed the cabinet. Also make sure it is free from trash in the bottom of the tub and that it is tightly connected to the water level switch.

Not draining

Are you sure your drain system is not clogged or restricting water flow ? When you say youtook off the hose off under the sink and it seemed to be lots of water running on the rise cycle .. that suggests that you may have a restriction after the drain hose in your house drain system. ...

Some other considerations..

To minimize the possibility of electric shock, unplug this appliance from the power supply before attempting any maintenance.
  • Some water, usually one to two cups, remaining in the bottom of the tub is normal. However, if water is covering the bottom of the tub, the dishwasher is not draining properly.

  • Check for paper or large objects covering or blocking the sump area in the rear of the tub.

  • Make sure that the right type and amount of detergent is used: Using the wrong type or too much detergent can cause sudsing that can prevent the dishwasher from draining. Only detergent specifically designed for automatic dishwashers such as Electrasol®, Cascade® or Cascade Complete® should be used

Water will not drain out of the tub all the way and behind the front door bottom in the insulation seems to be wet. and the cycle seems to take a long time to run...thanks

My dishwasher, Bosch Model No. SHU9922UC/U12, Serial No. 10 0202 80447 01 0040 goes through its wash, rinse and dry cycles but sometimes there is some water remaining on the items in the upper tray and one inch or so of water remaining in the bottom of the tub. Once water leaked out onto my kitchen floor. I found some broken glass and some plastic in the circular trap at the bottom and have removed the detritus.

The dishwasher in my kitchen doesn't seem to drain and it seems pump is not working

My motto is "if it ain't broke, don't fix it.", but in this case we will make an acception. Check the inside of the washer for a float device sitting on the bottom. Floats can get stuck or bent over, make sure it goes up and down freely

Maytag washer PAV2300 water over flow

I had the same problem and went out to a website for Maytag washers. That website advised that the problem could be mechanical or electrical. In my case, the problem was a clogged tube and it took only ten or fifteen minutes to fix.
0. Unplug the machine.
1. Open up the front of the washer. Along the left hand side is a long transparent tube. The tube connects to a wallet size container on the side and near the bottom of the tub.
2. Inspect the transparent tube. It may be clogged where the tube meets the wallet sided container.
Note: When the tub is full, it creates pressure in that wallet size compartment which sends air up that tube to a pressure switch located within the panel at the top of the washer. The pressure switch flips and tells the machine - stop filling the tub with water. My machine had a visible clog in the bottom of the tube that carries the air from the bottom of the tub up to the pressure switch.
3. Disconnect the tube and clean. I used a pipecleaner to get most of the mold out. To completely clear the tube, remove the top panel and disconnect the tube from the pressure switch in the top panel and blow air down the tube.
4. Reconnect, test - and you should be good to go. If not, your pressure switch may be dead.
