I have used a land line phone with a built in answering machine and it gets interfered with by Verizon's land line answering service. Both try to take the call at once, with mistakes. I am currently successfully using a land line phone that was sold by verizon, with verizon's name on it, which is totally compatible with the service. It is manufactured by CIDCO (not CISCO)model e-9010. Verizon doesn't sell them anymore, and I can't even find it on the web. What else can I use when that land line phone dies?
Can you not control it by setting the number of rings before answering very high on the device you DO NOT want picking up the call?

you cant unlock sprint phones. Called them and they said its impossible because they have their sim cards built right in to their phones so the only thing you can do is have them transferred to another persons sprint account. its bulls***

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but the only thing i would say try is taking the battery out for about 30 seconds. putting it back in and trying again. if it does not turn on then i'm afraid the phone will not come back. It's a somewhat rare problem but does happen.
Unfortunately all information is gone unless you had downloaded backup assistant.
