Where can I get a service manual showing the parts?

It is here, but a Parts Manual and a Service Manual are two separate documents.

Sometimes, if you search for:

you will get a drawing showing the various parts and the order they are installed.

go google and type in --workshop manual for PFAFF sewing machine model 145
there is a site that is pdf version down load but before you down load it open the version up to see if it is a workshop manual or repair manual and nor service or operators manual

Go to the singer website
Go to the home page
Go to customer service--click on it--it will show a small menu--click on instruction manual
In the box put the model number (example 177 )DO NOT ADD THE C IN THE BOX WITH THE NUMBERS & click search
in nothing comes up from the search then contact singer customer service about a manual

(the model number should only contain numbers, if you come up with nothing then contact singer customer service about a manual)

You can only oil the parts that you can see, if you want to get inside the machine a shop service is best.

I don't think it shows your Model by number but it says Model 9800 is the same.. This is just a parts breakdown but you might be able to fifure out how to put the nut back on, once you know exactly where it belongs.
