I have an E350 with 3 point took up. Can't get the deck to drop. It has a shredder hooked up and it will raise it up and lower it a little but not far enough down to shred.

Try spray silicon lubricant through the top of the paper shredder and also from underneath the machine.

most shredders have special paper that has lubricant in the paper and you have to buy it and run it through the machine after xxxx amount of paper shredding, i just use spray
BUT NEVER USE WD40 IT WILL GUM UP THE MACHINE

SOURCE: My shredder stop shredding. has paper caught in itposted

You must have a stripped gear. Should be a number in op manual. Take the top cover off and look for the broken gear. Call them an order gear.

Shredder drive gear is probably shredded - hard part to find or replace usually. Could mean a new shredder;-(

Mhs65 your eye sensor is bad. cleaning will not always help
better to replaced,

Azamoral0729: you may have two problems: Your system board or your paper sensors. I will first replace the paper sensor.
the sensor is giving false reading to the main board This is why your machine keeps coming on or will not stop when you shred.

good luck

SOURCE: Royal 10X confetti shredder

More than likely, there is a lot of paper debris jammed between the cutters and strippers. If you are handy, try the following.
Disconnect the power.
Disassemble the shredder from the lower bin to access the cutting head. Clear the head of all debris with a small screw driver or ice pick. Reassemble and oil the cutters with shredder oil, being careful not to get any oil on the optics. This should solve the sluggish problem. Oil on a regular basis, before every use.

SOURCE: Shredder won't shred any more.

I have the Infoguard SX100M Axeus, sold by Staples.
Only the reverse was working, UNPLUG and open back cover, the paper mechanical switch was working fine, red side switch, the gears and fuse were all ok, I think something on the circuit board was fried.

I switched the BLACK and WHITE wires with each other going to the shredder motor, thus when I switched it to reverse, it would go foward and shred. Its working now, only in reverse.

How can I hook up the snowblower attachment?

if its a garden tractor then you will first need to remove the mowing deck , this is easy if you have something to run front wheels up on to allow you room to pull deck out the side ,set deck height all the way down, save the drive belt . save the deck pins . locate the front chassis mounting arms and drive up to blower allow rear mounting arms to go between the two front wheels till the back of blower meets the front of chassis mounting arms (tight fit) install pins at all four points of contact , install belt to blower and front pto of machine (install any guards for belt) then raise blower from ground with deck height adjustment lever (it might feel heavier) test it to prove good contact your done
if its a three point (this is the reason I own one know) you back up to blower lower the mounting arms , engage the quick pins , install the drive shaft between the blower and machine with a quick spring snap , connect top link to tractor get back in seat and start machine raise three point an go !!

How do I install the shredder?

You need to access the accessory attachment point, it's behind the silver KitchenAid logo on the front of the mixer. You'll need to unscrew a set screw (black knob at the very front of the mixer head), newer mixers have a hinged cover, on older mixers, it just pulls out. Unscrew the set screw a bit and fold up or remove the cover.

Now you will see a hole with a hollow square shaft inside, this is where the various optional items attach to the mixer.

Specifically for the shredder, you will need to attach a slicing drum to the drive shaft provided with the shredder, insert it through the drum, and raise the little bar in the rear of the slicer assembly.

Insert the whole assembly into the front of the mixer so that the square drive shaft shaft fits into the square hollow in the mixer, then lower the little bar to lock into place.

I have a John Deere LX178 lawn tractor and the mower deck will not raise/lower. It is all the way down and pushing in the button is how i've ALWAYS adjusted the height. It will not budge

1) NEVER adjust to where the deck wheels touch the ground. The wheels are to ride 1/4" off the ground. 2) The long lever to your left which raises & lowers the deck has 3 settings. 1- Fully back toward you which has the deck raised (called transport mode). 2- Halfway down which is the normal mowing mode (called float mode) 3- Fully away from you which sets the deck fully on the ground. This mode is ONLY used for VERY rough terrain where the deck risks getting pushed into "transport" or "full up" mode & getting stuck there. 3) On front-to-back tilt, the front should be 1/2inch lower than the back for least damage to the grass. Ok-now to adjust "cutting" height. 1) Park on a level, flat surface. 2) Pull the deck lever fully back toward you to put the deck into "transport" mode. 3) twist the "cutting" height knob (just below your seat) to the height you want the grass cut. Has choices by 1/2" increments from 1" to 3.5". The deck in "transport" mode is 4". 4) Lower the deck lever to the midway/"floating" mode point. 5) Adjust each deck wheel with its own peg & pin to have at least 1/4" clearance from ground. Thats it for "cutting height" adjustments

Why can't I raise or lower the deck?

Sounds like you have jammed linkages which raise and lower deck, you can try this which usually works best with assistant.
With engine off, shake the deck vigorously (up,down, back and forth) while try to raise deck with lever.
Check for worn or damaged arms, springs, deck mounting points, etc and repair or replace.

I have a Kubota F2880, done 100 hours. Last few cuts cutting deck was getting slower when lowering to point today when won't lower at all. Checked hydaulic fluid all ok, checked linkages which seem ok

I ride one of these F2880 for snow removal and have had this issue... there is a flow control knob under the seat... slide the seat all the way ahead reach behind and under the seat there should be a lobed knob under there. Turn the knob counter clockwise slightly and this will open the valve return port a bit... go little by little until desired speed of drop. Good luck

Deck only raises a little bit, not the way it is supposed to. Selections 1-4 is the same level, resting on the ground. how do i fix this

The bolts or wing nuts for the deck adjustment have likely come loose or off entirely from the raising/ lowering undercarriage.
Once you have identified the loose or missing nuts (and replaced, making sure to add lock washers) then move the mower to a flat, level surface and move height lever to the lowest setting (some mowers have a flap over an ultra-low setting for this purpose).
Now tighten the nuts on the raising / lowering arms. You should now have normal control over the height. Farmerbear at FixYa.com

Adjusting John deere ''Sabre'' model deck

Move machine to flat/level surface, with deck raised put a 2x4 between rear of deck and ground.Make sure that the 2x4 goes all the way under deck from one side too the other.Once that is done lower deck all the way and make sure lift lever is all the way forward. Then on the rear top side of deck loosen bolt that holds arm to deck bracket, pull bracket as far down as you can then retighten bolt. This is also the point where you can level deck side to side.

Does not give a short enough cut

Have you always had this problem?
Have you had the blades off to sharpen?
Could the blades have been mistakenly put on upside down ?
The turned up piece goes toward the deck
Check your deck hangers to be sure they are free and not binding anywhere and to be sure they are dropping as far as they can go in the lowest deck setting.
your deck should move up and down evenly as you lower and raise it.
Unless spacers are an option for this cause i wouldnt use them.
Check the tire pressure 14 psi front 10psi rear .

hope some of this helps for you
