The panel shows code 1 E and code 39 E can you tell me what is wrong the ice maker is not making ice

Both are Ice maker sensor errors, service required. I don't recommend you attempting repair without knowledge of appliance repair

P1 is a indicator of a slow or clogged drain check to make sure that every thing is draining good if line is clear make sure pump is coming on to pump the water out of the bin. once all is clear unplug the unit for an hour then plug back in this will clear code unless you still have a drain issue.

No ice making
First i would check the water valve in the back. One side is for water.. the other side is for the ice maker... If you have a ohms meter check selonid for continuity look for blisters of plastic on sides showing in would be bad... You can also make a test cord to energise the valve by passing the icemaker to tell if valve is good. ALSO This would put water into you ice maker telling you.. you have a clear path for water to icemaker You only need to plug in for few seconds .. to keep from over filling icemaker if vavle good and water comes thu

one side of the freezer handle came off. Other side wont come off bc the metal piece with hex screw has been pulled off center and jammed. How can I get the handle off to fix this? The metal piece holding the hex screw is misaligned in the handle piece so you cannot access the hex screw to loosen it.
