I have taken apart the start trigger to check, whether the cable had come out and a spring fell out, how and where does the spring go back?

hey that's an electric lawnmower handle , you cant fool me posting this in the chainsaws section ,!!

the spring u mention it goes right back in center it holds two red handles away from switch (black thing in center) of course when your hands hold down on red handles it compresses spring and closes switch , motor brushes are most common cause of mowers not running

The lever wont close all the way after I insert pod?

You can move the handle slowly up and down until the coffee pod drops down. Be sure the used pod holder underneath is empty.

For some reason, this will not turn off when u release the handle

open up by holding trigger down then use flat blade to force red trig out with spring. You can then get the yellow handle to separate by inserting flat blade in to pop the yellow plugs. a big spring will come out at the same time and a white part with the washer in it.

Replace washer and you can refit in reverse order. put red trigger in place before pressing the handle back together. takes some force to press the front back in but snaps back in place. you can get a replacement washer for free from a co called skiffy. ask for a samples. great company. Hope this helps

Leaky faucet

If your faucet is dripping out of the spout. This is how to repair it if you have a faucet with this type of cartridge system

For details see diagram attached.
In the order you see. Valve nut, o-ring (may or may not be used in your valve) Valve Cartridge, Cup Washer and Spring.

Turn off the water to the valve at the water supply under the sink if you have shut-off valves there. Otherwise you will have to turn off the water to the whole house. Open some of the other faucets in the house if you have to turn the whole house water supply off at the water meter valve to reduce the line pressure. Open the handles of the faucet you are working on as well after you turn of the water either way.

If it has two handles there should be a set screw that holds the handle on. You will need the appropriate allen wrench for the set screw. Loosen that and wiggle the handle off the valve stem carefully. There is a brass nut that holds the valve cartridge in the valve body. Using a small pair of channel lock pliers or the appropriate box wrench. Loosen and remove that brass nut. Once that is off, grasp the valve stem with the channel locks and gently wiggle the valve as you pull upward. There will be some suction that wants to hold it in so this may take some finessing to loosen and remove. Be firm but gentile. Make sure you pay attention to the position the cartridge is in so you can place the cartridge back in the same position it was when you removed it. Otherwise, the handle will not be in the proper position when you put it back on.
Once you have the cartridge out. There should be a small black cup washer that sits in a hole on top of a spring at the bottom of the inside of the valve body. You should replace both the spring and cup washer.
You can find them at your local hardware store or big box DIY store.
I use a real small screwdriver to lift the washer and spring out.
When you go to place the new cup washer and spring back in place.
Place the spring in the whole with the larger side down. Then, to place the cup washer back. Place the cup washer on the small screwdriver and hold it with your index finger and lower it to the whole over the spring. Once you have the cup washer over the spring. You have to get the wider bottom part of the washer into the hole. Holding the washer down with your index finger. Use the small screwdriver tip to push the side of the washer into the hole working your way around the washer. Pressing the sides of the washer inward so the bottom edge pops into the hole over the spring. Once you fell the washer pop in and seat. Push straight down to get it fully placed. Then reverse the procedure you used above to remove the cartridge. Paying careful attention to the position the cartridge was in when you removed it and replacing it in the exact same position. There are o-rings or an o-ring around the cartridge so you'll have to wiggle the cartridge and press down to get it to seat level. Place the nut back over the cartridge and tighten down firmly. Replace the handle and tighten the set screw.

Brew group taken apart and small glass ball fell out from where I don't know and I need to get this back otherwise the water brews into the grout draw. HELP

HI This is the instructions for cleaning the brew head. If you follow these instructions you will get everything back in the proper way and you can make coffee again. Remove the brew unit. Holding the handle, on the top left side is the brew head, there is an outlet pipe that exits the front side towards the door (looks like a long "L" pipe). 2 screws hold it to the top. Remove the 2 screws while holding the manifold ("L" pipe assembly). Once they are removed, lift the l assembly off (be careful, there is an O-ring, spring and at the end a black rubber disk or crystal ball). Do this over a towel to prevent loosing small pieces, mainly the crystal ball. Now remove the brew screen, by holding the screen with your finger and twisting the thumbscrew (remember, thumbscrew), DON'T use the key to install the screen, use your fingers. Once the screen is out, look at where the screen was. There are 2 holes. A big one in the center and a small one to the side. With the brew unit upside down over the towel, insert a paperclip into the small hole and force anything out the other side. I have gotten worms almost a 1" long from this passage. The paper clip has to go from this side to prevent damage to the seat on the other side. Clean then reassemble. Brew unit on towel right side up. Drop the crystal ball in first. Then the spring small end first on the crystal ball. Now the O-ring over the spring, then place the manifold on top of that with the pipe towards the machine. Insert your screws (I turn them backwards a little with a little downward pressure until they feel like they drop into the threads. They should turn down easily, if not back them up a little more ( we are trying to find the old threads) and tighten. Install screen, and tighten with your fingers. The screen just needs to be flush with the bottom of the brew head. That should do it.

After using oily coffee beans the machine drops one drop at a time how do I clean the coffee grinder and drip system alos it says after the rinsing cycle 'ventilate' how do I ventilate.

Hi
The ventilate is just opening the steam valve for just water. Don't push the button for steam. Your grinder needs to be a little coarser. Turn the big know in the bean hopper to a larger #, about 2 to 4
# higher.
You need to clean the brew head in the brew unit.

I have put my hayward 710 multiport valve assembly back together and need to figure out how to put the handle back on. The handle has a pin assembly and does not seem to fit once everything is assembled....

Place valve on ground, sit in chair and place feet on top of valve. Press down evenly and the spring will compress. Insert pin in one side of handle then tap in lightly with hammer until even.

2001 Ford Explorer Sport

Common problem on 2001 Ford Explores. The reason why your door handle doesn't unlock the door(can't be unlocked by remote either)is due to a broken spring located on the backside of the door handel INSIDE the door. True that your one(or two) of your small exterior springs on your door handle are broken(will cause your handle to flap) but this IS NOT YOUR PROBLEM. The door locks will work if there is a bit of tension holding the handle bracket up. I know it's hard to explain without pics. but here's the ONLY WAY TO FIX THIS. It's not that hard.......... Remove the door panel, only a few screws and a few more holding trim around exit handle then, pull out "snap in" clips on bottom. With a flashlight you'll see back side of door handle. To get to that area you'll have to remove one bolt holding a window frame. Do that(with window in up position) then slide down rail, out of your way. Now, get back to handle. With your light aimed at the backside of handle left slowly the door handle as normal, and you'll realize(while looking at the mechanism) that tension(pulling down of bracket) needs to occur in order for locks(manual and remote)to work properly. Trust me.....you'll figure it out. Once you do, get a spring(pen spring, 30 cent hardware store spring, any small spring!) and hook one end to bracket and the other end to ANYTHING(OUT OF THE WAY) below the door handle thus, causing SLIGHT tension. Try your locks...THEY WILL WORK! YEAH! Replace that one window frame bolt(try your window...just the make sure), replace door panel and your done. TOTAL COST: 30 cents or FREE(if you have a small spring) Ford dealers will charge $150 to $285! Yikes!
