I just addressed this with my wife. Each of these mobile devices utilize file formats that give them an advantage to save, edit, transmit, conserve data space, etc with in their own product line. They are not universal. ie my wife tried to save a bunch of iphone pics from facebook to a disc so she could print off disc at store. The file format was .php. and not a single pic was usable yet the file said they were there. They weren't. I repeated all of her work and saved them all to a new directory as a .jpeg file. To do this, instead of a right click then save as; I double clicked the picture which opened it in a photo editor then right clicked hit save as then changed the file format to .jpeg instead of .php.Could not have been done without a laptop. I don't care how much my techie son says, mobile devices do not do as much as laptops. I hate mobile devices. Hope you found this helpful.

I cant uplaod a video to facebook from my iphone

  • From either your Timeline or News Feed section of the Facebook Application for iPhone click Status on the left side of the screen (next to Photo and Check In).
  • Click on the "Camera Icon" directly above your keyboard.
  • You will have 2 Options: "Take Photo or Video" and "Choose From Library"
  • Selecting Choose from Library will show you your Camera Roll (the header is Photos, but this is not important). Both Photos and Videos will be in the Camera Roll.
  • If the Video will not load completely make sure you have a strong connection either to your Cell Phone Service or Wireless internet.
  • Additionally, you can delete the app by holding down on the icon until it begins to jiggle. Click the black X. Re-install the app. This solves many issue with the Facebook App.

How do I get my pictures to email or facebook

There's 2 ways you can get photos off of your camera, and onto your computer.

1) Plug the USB cable that came with your camera into the camera, and the other end into your computer.
A box will pop up asking what you want to do next. Choose "Open folder to view files". You should then be able to see all of the photos on your camera.

2) If you have a memory card reader, you can remove the memory card from your camera, and insert it into the card reader. Then you'll be able to view the photos in much the same way as in example 1.

Once you can see the photos on your computer, it's just a matter of attaching them to an email or uploading them to facebook.

How can i upload or attach document at my facebook?

Hi There!

Here is your solution.

  • To attach a photo, video or document you already have stored on your computer, click the paperclip icon that's located below the message you are composing, and choose the photo or video file you'd like to upload.

  • To attach a new photo to a message, click the camera icon that's located below the message you are composing. If your computer has a camera, you'll be able to take a photo by clicking the blue camera button.

  • To attach a new video to a message, click the camera icon that's located below the message you are composing. Then, click the "Switch to Video" icon on the upper-right side of the camera display. Your video will begin recording once you click the red dot button, and it will stop when you click the button again.

  • There you go!

    Many thanks,

Just use a separate card reader to download to a folder you create on your desktop. Then you open that folder and you can see your photos as a slide show or individually.

I click on upload and try to type in location of photo but the type does not show. I previously went to Documents, then My Pictures and clicked on the chosen photo. I have no problem sending photos via...

Make sure you are using the uploader provided with facebook, verify that your photo size is allowed and that may help. Many newer high resolution cameras take a very hi resolution picture, and as a result the photo has too large of a file size. Download Jasc painshop pro free, or other photo editing software and try to reduce the file size of your photo. You can also reduce the pixel count from your camera before you shoot. Also remember that, the larger your file size the slower the picture will load. This will make it hard for friends and family to view your picture due to long download times.
