This can be a fault of the internal interlock (switch) that is closed when the bucket is in place. Normally, the purpose of the interlock is to prevent the dehumidifier from mindlessly dumping condensate into a missing bucket.

Why is the empty bucket signaling full bucket

See if there is a float switch in the unit that may be stuck.

The light indicating that "bucket

This usually happens when either the Float Valve in the bucket is stuck in the UP position (if yours is so equipped. Jiggle it to get it to return to the DOWN position.

If you humidifier's bucket is not so equipped. It's usually an indication that the bucket was not reinstalled properly, after it was removed. To check and correct this, turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to OFF and unplug the unit. Remove the bucket and reinsert it, making sure that it fits "squarely" in the bucket holder from Top to Bottom. Once installed, make sure the bottom of the bucket is not tilted down in any way. Plug the unit back in and turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to ON. If it was reinstalled correctly, the bucket full light should have gone off and the unit will run as it should, if the humidity extraction level is set low enough.

Hope this helped you to troubleshoot and solve the problem.

The unit is showing "full

Two things generally cause this problem. If your unit has a Float Valve inside the bucket, it's stuck in the 'Up' position, which under normal conditions, indicates to the unit, that the bucket is FULL. If you don't have that, then when the bucket was last inserted into the bucket holder, it did not trip the bucket removal safety switch. Remove the bucket and reinstall it, making sure that it fits squarely into the hole from top to bottom. Leave the unit ON when you do this, because if you do it correctly, the unit will automatically start and run. Also, be sure that humidity extraction level is set on 32 - 35 %.

Hope this helped you to troubleshoot and solve the problem. Please let me know. Thanks.

Even though I have emptied the bucket the bucket full light will not turn off and the dehumidifier will not reset. I tried unplugging the unit but when I plug it back in it still says bucket full

The bucket full light blinks even though it is empty and there is "01" in the screen where the digital humidity level is indicated. Pushing the up or down arrow does not change the "01" number. Unit won't...

Take out the bucket and locate the bucket full switch inside the cabinet. Depress the switch and see if it comes on. If so, you may have to add a shim to the bucket or strap it in with a bungie cord as the bucket is jiggling and makes the unit think that it has been removed.
