Why am I unable to get it out of demo mode?

To turn off Demo Mode:

1. Press SETTINGS 12 times. "Demo Mode" and "ON. Press (1) to OFF" will appear in the display text area.

2. Press the "1" keypad to change the Demonstration Mode setting to Off.

3. "OFF Selected" will scroll in the text area. Demo Mode has been turned Off.

its in the menu setting under demo on /off put to off.

Go into settings and turn demo mode off. If it resets to demo mode every time you turn the car on then you'll have to get it looked at, it's either the radio or your car battery.

1. Press and hold the SETUP button for at least 3
seconds.
2 Press the f UP or g DN button to select the
"DEMO" mode.
3 Press the BAND button to turn on or off the DEMO
mode.
Each press toggles between "DEMO ON" and "DEMO
OFF."
If no buttons are pressed 30 seconds after the DEMO
mode is turned ON. The DEMO mode then begins.
NOTE
The initial setting at the factory is "DEMO ON."
4 Press the SETUP button again to return to normal
operation

You should still be able to turn the radio on even if it is in demo mode. If you can''t turn the radio on, you have other problems. Did you try pressing the source button? Most pioneer radios tell you how to turn demo mode off when you first put power to it.

Feature demo
The feature demo automatically starts when
power to this product is switched off while the
ignition switch is set to ACC or ON. Pressing 6
numbered button during feature demo operation
cancels the feature demo mode. Pressing 6
numbered button again to start the feature
mode. remember that if the feature demo continues
operating when the car engine is
switched off, it may drain battery power.
Notes
• You cannot cancel a demo mode when the
front panel is open.
• The red lead (ACC) of this product should be
connected to a terminal coupled with ignition
switch on/off operations. If this is not done,
the vehicle battery may be drained.

I HAVE SAME PROBLEM. AFTER I REPLACED MY DEAD BATTERY MY AIWA CDC-X304 IS STUCK IN THE DEMO MODE. ONLY CD WORKS BUT ALL BUTTONS ON FACING DO NOT RESPOND. ANY SUGGESTIONS HOW TO RESET.
