The clicking sound started after the 3rd time making bread. The overheating and motor smell after 5th time. Each time I am using a dough hook for whole wheat bread - not a dry dough at all - very moist -

It sounds as if the motor has burned out. You may need to purchase a new blender or send it to the manufacture for repair if it's still under warranty.
If the burning smells like plastic then the walnut shells most likely put too much strain on the motor and burned it out. If the burning does not smell like plastic then you most likely have walnut shell grit jamming your motor.
This can be cleaned out by first ENSURING IT IS UNPLUGGED FROM THE WALL.
First remove the canister (if possible)
The remove the blade (if possible) check for a build up of grit between the blade and the shaft connecting it to the motor.
Check the channel the shaft passes through from the motor for large chunks of walnut shells or date paste.
Clean the canister thoroughly with warm water and leave it to soak overnight in a water/soap mixture.
If this has not resolved the issue then try to claim it under warranty or source replacement parts online.

Anytime you smell something burning while using an appliance that isn't suppose to heat food, something is wrong. You shouldn't smell any foul odors emanating from a blender. The fact that it shuts off while pureeing something as simple as oatmeal indicates that particular blender is defective.
If you contact the manufacture they will be able to inform you as to your warranty eligibility.
