Weedeater repair

Its possible that the drive shaft is broken or the end of the shaft is worn where it hooks into the gear head. The trimmer head has a hex fitting that meshes with the gear assembly in order for it to turn, its possible the hex is worn on the cutting head from usage, which would require replacing the outer spool assembly. I have a amprobe RS-3 clamp on amp meter that has two broken plastic screws that hold the case together. They have a hex head with a long shoulder on them that goes down to what looks to be a machine...

Went to Lowe's got 2 plastic 8-32 x 1" long....the heads needed alittle sanding down to get into the resess area, did with just a belt sander....this holds nice so far, I just notice my Ohm side dosnt read zero when the probs are touching, and the thumb ajust isnt making a differance, thinking their is a print for the layout for the Ohm end to fix, I just put a new battery in and it moves alittle but not to zero, and ideas?

What does E1 mean, and it stops drying

The fault code E1 means the electronic control detected the thermistor is open. It's either the wire harness connecting the thermistor and electronic control is broken or the connection is loose or the thermistor is indeed open. Measure the resistance of the thermistor then refer to the temperature and resistance table below for the normal thermistor resistance values. Replace the thermistor if the measured resistance is not in the table.

Check the continuity of the wire harness if the thermistor resistance is good and make sure the connectors are fully inserted. Replace the harness if it is broken (no continuity). The problem lies in the electronic control board if no issue is found in the harness and the connections.

The thermistor is located on the blower housing and can be accessed through the toe panel. Shut off the gas supply if the dryer is gas type and disconnect electrical power. Remove the two hex-head screws from the bottom flange of the toe panel then pull the panel down and off the cabinet.

Remove the hex-head screw from the lint duct bracket and remove the bracket. Remove the two hex-head screws from the lint duct and remove the duct.

Remove at least one of the wires from the terminals of the thermistor when measuring its resistance. Remove the two-hex-head screws securing it to the blower housing when replacing it and install the new one. Reassemble in reverse order of the disassembly steps.

How do you lock spindle on Delta Osillating sander to change sand rolls?

The spindle screw is reverse tread and you need to turn it clockwise to loosen and counter clockwise to tighten the screw. You can usually hold the spindle with your hand then turn the screw clockwise to loosen the screw. Worst case scenario, carefully turn the machine upside down. Place it on a clean supporting surface. Use a flat-head screwdriver or similar device to remove the plastic gear cover to gain access to socket-head screw. Carefully place the machine on its side. Attach the spindle adapter to the motor shaft turning the spindle adapter counter-clockwise on the shaft.
NOTE: Motor shaft has a left-hand thread.
Place a 7/16" open-end wrench on the flats of spindle adapter. Insert a 3/16" hex
wrench into the socket-head screw located where the plastic gear cover was removed.
Hold the hex wrench to prevent the motor shaft from turning. Turn the wrench counter -clock wise to
fasten the spindle adapter on the motor shaft.
Reinstall the plastic gear cover that was removed above.

How do you take the seat off a 2006 Eliminator 125 to fit soft luggage?

My 2006 125 Eliminator just got a reupholstered seat. Remove hex bolt at the very rear of seat. Remove right side plastic cover over battery (open with key, pull off cover) .Remove plastic cover on left side (2 large phillips head screws.) Remove 2 stainless hex heads on each side of bike that hold chromed plastic sleeves under passenger part of seat (4 hex heads). Then remove 2 smaller black hex heads (one on each side) under point where tapered passenger part of seat begins. Slide seat toward rear of bike do disengage from metal lip that holds down the front.
Be sure to use metric hex wrenches. 15 minutes or less off or on.

Broken on-off switch on Rio 600

They are Hex head screws. You need a small (1.3MM or .050) Hex head bit or Allen wrench. After removing the two screws the case will split. However the problem I'm having is figuring out how to re-attach the switch. It's a very odd connection.
