display shows only partial numbers - but works fine otherwise

Display is gone on my R-1752, this is my 3rd microwave by sharp. They've replaced all until this recent one, because it lasted about a year and 2 months before the display went out. I'm DONE with Sharp. There customer service is the pits, they won't refund your money, just give another sub-standard product, again, I'm on my 3rd, what does that tell you.

Model r1200 sharp microwave display does not lite, have replaced twice and other people who have purchased have the same problem. Does the new version 2 color display replace my display

Sharp microwave is a very good unit. If you have done same repair twice before, i suggest replace board complete with display next time as there could very possibly be a set of defective components on the old board that is causing this display problem. Have done this repair before and noted how thin the tracks are also. Honestly go for new board if you can.

The display no longer works on my Model R303CW Sharp Microwave. Is there a part that will fix the display?? Everything else works fine.

Nope , could be dry joints or corroded pcb or defective display driver or supply ? Only can be told once opened and inspected.

The Display is Dim. Hard to read the numbers.

I have the same model and problem. The time display is totally unreadable. Looking for a solution as well. I suspect given the cost (I believe around $60), it's time for a new one. Anyone have any suggestions or easy repair ideas?
