HOW DO YOU INITIALIZE PICTURE CARD FOR A FUJI FINEPIX A330 CAMERA

"initialize" means to format the card in the camera. This will erase it so download any pics first using a card reader if necessary. Then, with the card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format" or "initialize" and follow the on-screen instructions.

New memory card

Go to the setup menu and look for "format". That is the same as initialize. That will prepare your card for shooting. It will erase everything that is on the card, so make sure you don't have important stuff already on it.

Can't initialize SanDisk Ultra II for S7000

It looks as though the camera cannot support memory as high as 4GB. Capacities above 2.2 GB require that your camera supports "FAT32", and S7000 does not support FAT32.
