Is the tv shot or just a bulb? it went out suddenly

That is the part that contains the tuner.

Unplug the set for a while, also a cable or sat box or home receiver and power back each to allow them to try to reboot.

If you have a cable box you probably need to reset it.

Maybe the cable signal is defective not your tv.the other channel is ok.if you tv has a defect all channel has affected.

The tv should be on channel 3. Otherwise, you can go to menu on tv, then find "autoprogram" and it will search all available channels. Usually tv should be on channel 3 if hooked up with a coaxil cable and aux or AV or Input if you are using rca jacks.

If you have static siugnal, sure TV is not dead.

Check the aerial cable, ensure it is well plugged in and getting signal.

If you are using a receiver box, check cables to TV and receiver (freeview, sat, cable etc.), try setting channels on receiver again, if it does not work but you get static, then either the cables or receiver are defective.

Test the TV on standalone , connecting it to an external antenna.
Tune again the channels, and save the preset.
If still no signal then the antenna socket on the TV may be defective.

Try using the TV with a DVD.

If you can watch DVDs, and TV is not keeping channels preset, and you tried all the above, at this point htere may be a fault in the tuner card inside tv.

Call the phone number listed on tv user manual to get support, and eventually repair it.

cheak cables try other cables old style yellow to see the pic then go in box tell it hdmi output or coumpunt whatever uuse try differnt ports

try to reprogram the channel. it seems that your tv's sound circuit is fine.
