To connect your RCA tablet to Wifi, drag down the right side of your screen to quickly access settings icon. Click the icon so the settings page will open. Slide the Wifi button to the right to switch it on. Scan the wifi network that you wish to connect to and you will be asked for the password or key. Once you are connected you will see the wifi logo will turn to the color blue.
Hold your finger on the icon until all the icons starting shaking, then drag the icon wherever you want it. When you have it in place, push the home key and the icons will stop shaking.

Your root problem isn't that your car won't go to your friend's house, it's that it won't start. SO, please re-ask the question with specifics of your root problem, which is you can't connect to WiFi. Do you know the password for your WiFi router? Can you see it listed in the wireless networks? Do you not know how to connect to WiFi in the first place?
If your wifi at home is secured you must enter the password.
On your tablet is an Amazon Kindle icon, blue in color, tap on it for tablet instructions.
