Question about Freezers
I have set the freezer temperature to 0 degrees F using the up/down arrows. When I push the Temp Display button on the freezer front, it shows a temp of 23 degrees F. So is this the internal temp? Will the temp lower to the 0 degrees I set?
Unless this is a dedicated freezer only and not a side by side or over/under , there's no way it's going to get down too 0 degrees inside a warm home , nope not gonna happen
also its not good for you to set this there as compressor wont cycle properly there and entire freezer will ice up , then believe it or not it will get warmer not colder wastes a lot of power as well

Hello swanee3669 - Have you trying measuring the temperature inside the unit to confirmed that it matches the display? If so, I recommend contacting a professional to accurately diagnose the unit since it sounds like it could possibly have a bad sealed, thermostat or control board.
