I have a Panasonic KX-TD7895 phone that I have had for years. It dials fine, and I can hear the party on other line speak, but they cannot hear me speak. What is wrong with my phone?

It is probably the same problem I just had with mine through Comcast. All I was getting was a not answered message no matter what number I dialed. I had the telephone line running through a surge surpressor that had one line running in and then two lines running out. I had been hooking up my fax through one of the two out lines. When I switched it to the main line and not through the surge protector everything worked fine.
So if you have any splitters or surge surpressors on your line - switch to the main line and see if your problems does away like mine did.
Common problem, but if your not a phone tech with a parts account, schematics, etc.., I recommend you send it in for repair than risk breaking it since it is such a valuable phone and one wrong move can ruin it beyond repair. If it was a $50 phone, I would say tear into it and give it a shot. But at over $350 you should have a pro do it and its much cheaper than buying a replacement or sending to Panasonic. Google kx-td7895 repair and you can find a private facility.
CONFERENCE CALL ON PANASONIC 7630. First select a C.O. LINE, line 1,2,3 ect. Then make your first call. Once you are connected with your first call tell that person to hold and press the CONF button then dial the next persons phone number, once you are connected with that person press CONF once again and you will hear a BEEP/CALL TONE indicating that you have connected with both parties. Please rate Thank you
If you were using this unit and it was functioning, then most likely the handset has gotten damaged, and you would need to send the handset and base into repair (its not programming setting or a field servicable problem). If your testing this unit for the first time, the base may not "match" the handset. You can tell if they match by looking at the code on the little white sticker on the bottom of the base, and it must match the code on the sticker on the handset which is under the battery. So if they match, and they still will not communicate with eachother not much can be done until its put on a diagnostics and testing. You can google kx-td7895 repair to find a facility. Good luck
