ITunes Error 3194 occurs when your system is not able to connect with Apple,s firmware signature verification server. To Fix iTunes Error 3194, read the easy steps are given below:
Steps to Fix iTunes Error 3194:

Step 1: Close iTunes and open the open the hosts file on your computer and go to terminal from the utilities folder, then type sudo/nano/etc/hosts, and press ? Return. This will open the hosts file in a text editor.

Generally, host file editing is useful to fix iTunes error 3194, you need make sure you did it right:
Step 1. For Windows, navigate to C:/Windows/System32/drivers/etc/ and find the file that's named "hosts". For Mac, the file is in /etc/
Step 2. Open the file in Notepad (or any other text editing software) (for Windows users, open this with Administrator Privileges). You'll mostly have this line at the bottom of the file: 74.208.105.171 gs.apple.com
Step 3. Either comment this line out by typing a single '#' (without the quotes) in front of the line (before 74) or remove the line entirely.
Step 4. Now, save the hosts file and then try updating your iPhone through iTunes. In most cases, the error shouldn't pop up now.
IF doing as above, still not working, you can change another iTunes backup recovery tool as an alternative. Personally, I recommend PhoneRescue to help you restore iPhone from iTunes backup.

Whenever there is an ios update offered, Apple will give enough time to the public to install the update. When they decide that there has been ample time to do so, they stop writing the certificates that allow access to the older updates for security reasons along with others. It's still possible to do it with an iphone 4 though because it's a hardware thing that apple can[t fix with a software update.

SOURCE: My wifi doesn't connect to

Ad-hoc is a computer to computer connection.
You need to change the wireless configuration to Access Point (Infrastructure) mode with encryption.

Your wireless card in your computer or laptop needs to be configured with the router's wireless settings eg. the SSID and encryption key
The encryption key (network key) is in your wireless router, without this key the wireless router won't allow the computer or laptop to connect to this wireless router.
The WEP, WPA, WPA2 encryption key is in your router's wireless settings. Log into your router and got to the wireless settings, you will need to get the SSID and the encryption key. Then go to your computer or laptop's wireless card and configure it with the router's SSID and encryption key, so it will then connect to the wireless router and the Internet.

SOURCE: my iphone does not turn

If the ios 5 is in beta. That means that it's in Test mode. If it keeps messing up and dying. It's not ready yet.

Beta = Test

So the best you can do is offer feedback to Apple over it, then restore your phone back the the latest ios 4 for the time being, and wait for ios 5 to get out of Beta mode

It's in your best interest to transfer the photos to a local storage solution, perhaps an external hard drive, or another cloud based drive. Once you cancel the service, no guarantee that your data will still be there, so take care of your data and those precious photos.

How do I prevent Tenorshare iphone data recovery from crashing every time I try to connect my iPhone?

Hello, firend. iPhone Data Recovery for iPhone 4S is leww likely to crash and DFU mode is not needed. And the bug-fixed version is better than the previous. If it crashes really badly, you can apply for an exchange from Tenorshare.

Iphone 4 error 3194

  • Quit iTunes
  • Locate your hosts file, in Mac OS X this is /etc/hosts and in Windows this is c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
  • Open the hosts file with Administrator privileges
  • Add the following lines to the very bottom of the hosts file:
  • 74.208.105.171 gs.apple.com
  • Connect your iPhone to the computer
  • Launch iTunes
  • Put the iPhone/iPad/iPod into DFU mode by turning the phone off and then holding down the sleep and power button for 10 seconds, then release the power button but hold onto the home button until iTunes tells you that the device is now in recover mode
  • Use the iTunes Restore feature as usual with the iOS device
  • After the process, remove the line you added to the hosts file.

My iphone is unable to update and restore and I got error code 1015.

This usually happens when you hve problems downgrading firmware or jailbreaking.
Here is a guide to fix it.

To fix this error, you will have to make a couple of changes in your system's "host" file, by pointing it towards Cydia server instead of Apple's. Also this is not it, you may also receive another error during restore: 1004, or 1015 from iTunes saying: "The iPhone [you name] iPhone could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (1004)". The following step by step instructions will guide you on how to fix these errors so that you can restore any of your new iOS devices like iPhone 4 or 3GS to iOS 4.0.1 successfully.
Step 1: Download the required iOS 4.0.1 ipsw firmware files from here.
Step 2: Put your device into DFU mode (not recovery mode).
  • Connect your iPhone to your computer.
  • Turn iPhone off.
  • Start iTunes.
  • Hold Power and Home buttons together for 10 seconds or so.
  • Release Power button but keep holding the Home button until your computer recognizes a new USB device.
  • iTunes will now recognize your iPhone.
Note: Your iPhone screen at this time should be blank (black in color), if not, then you are most likely in Recovery Mode, not DFU mode.
Step 3: Before you proceed, you must make sure that you have your SHSH blobs saved on Cydia for the firmware version you restoring or downgrading to. If you don't have your SHSH files saved, you cannot downgrade or restore to iOS 4.0.1.
So now, what we will do is to trick iTunes into thinking that it is watching Apple servers, while in real, we are going to change the address to Saurik's server.
  • Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\ and locate "hosts" file.
hostsfileinwindows.png Mac OS X users can get to "/etc/" directory by going through "Go -> Go to Folder" from Finder.
hostsfileinosx.png
  • Open this "hosts" file in Notepad (for Windows) or TextEdit (for Mac OS X) and add this
74.208.105.171 gs.apple.com line as shown in the screenshot below:
21.png Now simply save this file and you are good to go!
NOTE for Windows 7 and Vista: Start "Notepad" with Administrator privileges by right clicking on "Notepad" app, and click on "Run as Administrator" option.
NOTE for Mac OS X: Make sure you have full read and write access on your account when you are saving the host file. If it still throws permission error, simply copy the host file to desktop, make the required changes, and then replace it with the original file in "/etc/" directory.
Step 4: You will now have to restore your iPhone to the firmware you downloaded in Step 1. Click on your phone icon from the sidebar in iTunes. Now press and hold left "alt" (option) button on Mac (Left "Shift" button on Windows) on the keyboard and then click on "Restore" (Not "Update" or "Check for Update") button in the iTunes and then release this button.
itunes.png This will make iTunes prompt you to select the location for your downloaded firmware file. Select that ipsw file and click on "Open".
Step 5: Now sit back and enjoy as iTunes does the rest for you. This will involve a series of automated steps. Be patient at this stage and don't do anything silly. Just wait while iTunes installs firmware on your iPhone. Your iPhone screen at this point will be showing a progress bar indicating installation progress. Now at some point, iTunes will probably throw 1004 or 1015 error at you. This is normal, just ignore this error as the firmware has already been successfully installed on the device.
iphone42.png Step 6: Your iPhone at this point will be stuck in Recovery Mode, showing that "Connect to iTunes" screen. To exit your device from Recovery Mode, download this program called TinyUmbrella (Windows / Mac). Run it and the click on "Kick Device Out of Recovery" button. Your device will now restart normally.
iphone43.png This is it, you should now be able to jailbreak and unlock your device.

How to restore iphone to factory settings?? I lost the password.

To restore iPhone and reset the phone to default factory settings, follow these steps:
  1. Turn off iPhone – Hold down the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the red slider. Ignore this step if your iPhone is already off.
  2. Press and hold down the Home button for about 10 seconds until a yellow triangle with a text which says Please Connect to iTunes appears. iphone-recovery-mode.jpg
  3. Plug the iPhone into Mac or Windows PC. Release the button if you haven’t.
  4. Run and open iTunes if it’s not already opened yet.
  5. iTunes will prompt a message that says iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode. Click OK.
  6. You will be taken to the iPhone pane. Then, click on Restore.
  7. Wait for the full restoration process to complete, and the iPhone will be back to the original settings state as when it left the manufacturing factory, typically a working phone again if you face any problem, unless it’s hardware related.
