    I have done that but all I can get access to is the user's manual. I need the technical manual to get the name of an interior mechanical part so I can fix it.
    Any ideas where I can find that specific manual?

    If the user's manual is available, I'd try to establish contact with whoever it is that supplies it, and describe what you are looking for. Most of the time (if you're lucky) people try to help. Come to think of it, that's what FIXYA is all about.

How do I oil my babylock serger
That depends on the model. The Babylock Triumph (BLETS8) does not get oiled by the user. However, the Babylock Diana (BL480A) needs to be oiled at 4 different points. See the picture on page 63 (page 64 of the PDF) of the manual. Babylock has the manual here: https://babylock.com/resources/5148/download . Current Babylock sewing machine and serger model manuals are available here: https://babylock.com/support/machine-support .

Please add a comment with your serger model. I'll try to find the oiling diagram, if the machine needs regular lubrication. Do not oil any sewing/serger machine unless the manual recommends that as part of the maintenance of the machine. Some Babylock sewing machine dealers will provide you with the manual, if it is available for a small fee. The Babylock serger that I have access to didn't come with a manual. However, we were able to get one from the dealer.

Singer Zig-Zag Model 413 works but old plastic "cog" "spoke" "gear"that rotates the bobbin
Really need the Service Manual to understand access to the timing gear for replacement....probably easier and cheaper to have a qualified tech do a quote, then the work....may not be economic for repair.

Babylock ellure
I asked MY tech yesterday after driving 8 hours to aone about the manual, I was told the techs do not want ANYONE into the machines because of the computer inside. I to need a service manual to fix a cutter problem. Why in the world do we continue to purchase macihnes that are unserviceable by us, the owner? because we love to embroider :) if anyone finds a manual for the ellure please let us all know :)
