My Pfaff Tiptronic 6270 does not sew.

is there an oil hole on the hand wheel near the hub? if so then put a couple drops of sewing machine oil in there and it should go back to working .

This has been developed to replace the PFAFF transformer and this one does the job

Are you sure of the model number? Pfaff doesn't have a Tiptronic 1020, just a Hobby 1020. The manual for the Hobby 1020 is not on the Pfaff site: http://www.pfaff.com/en-US/Support-and-Updates/Support . There is a Tiptronic 2010 and that manual is here: http://www.pfaff.com/SiteMedia/PFAFF/Products/Machines/Support-manuals/Tiptronic_2010_2020-manual-EN.pdf?ext=.pdf . Some sewing machine parts vendors do offer the manuals for sale.

There is a fuse in the the base plate
that has probably blown. It is soldered in and needs to be fixed by a Pfaff dealer on someone with access to the fuse. If you have the work done, make sure they replace a certain reisitor on the base plate at the same time to prevent this from happening again (per Paff). Sorry for the inconvenience, hope you are back to enjoying your Pfaff machine real soon.

There is a small clear plastic piece blocking the switch that must be removed, then use a small flat screw driver to flip the switch, you can throw away the small piece, it is only needed for shipping.
