Radio keeps shutting off

Radio will not stay on longer than a few seconds at a time. I constantly have to turn the radio on over and over again to even make a call. I have a blackberry pearl that is about 1.5 years old. It has no significant damage and the battery is fine and I make sure the phone is always charged. I see that a lot of other pearl owners have experienced the same problem but I cannot find a solution anywhere and my service provider was of no help either.

When there is no signal around ur blackberry will shut off the radio instead of constantly searching for one which really kills battery power just make sure you arent in a real signal dead area and you should be fine to turn it back on just go to manage connections and click it back on,if this is not the problem then there might be some problem with ur phone.

STEREO ETC STAYS ON EVEN AFTER TURNING IT OFF AND REMOVING THE KEY

It sounds like you have a constant 12V power supply wired to the radio instead of a switched 12V. If you've recently installed a new radio, check your wires again. There should be a 12V constant and a 12V switched. The switched 12V will turn the radio off, while the constant 12V is for keeping the clock and radio memory working.

Cobra 18rv cb has 3 power wires, what is the yellow, (aux) wire for?

The red lead (switched) turns the radio on when the ignition switch is turned on and off when the ignition switch is turned off. The orange wire is used to keep power constantly going to the radio so you don't lose the last channel you were on, and it gives you emergency weather information even if the radio is off. If you want the radio to stay on all the time even if the ignition switch is turned off then you can just put both wires to a constant power source like directly to the positive post of the battery or an un-switched connection on the fuse panel, and you just turn it off with the volume/power switch. But you have to remember to turn the radio off or you could drain the battery in a few days. So the choice is yours. :)

My radio powers off every few minutes. Needs to be turned back on by the on-off switch. How can I stop it from turning off automaticly?

When you press the Power/Sleep button the radio turns on and displays a number 90, or some other numbers. This is the play time that the radio will stay on then turns itself off. It could be that yours is configured with a sleep timer set to 01 minute, 10 or 15. You need to set the timer for a longer period. Thus we turn it on by pressing the Power/Sleep button, read the timer length then press again. Keep making short presses: The timer will cycle through all preset sleep timer durations. Select the length you want.

When i turn my car on the my avic-f90bt pioneer goes on but after about 20 seconds shuts right off again and continues doing the same thing over and over again

Check your wiring. Sounds like you've got a bad ground, or missed a 12v source somewhere. Remember - There is a 12v constant that keeps your radio constantly tied in (so your clock stays correct, etc) and a 12v Ignition/ACC which tells your radio when you've turned the car ON or in ACC mode (which turns the radio on).
If you've mixed the two up, you'd probably get the results you're getting.

Radio won't turn off.

The radio should still shut off after 20 minutes even if the door is not opened. If it stays on longer than this there is still a problem..

Grundig S350DL shuts itself off

The default mode for this radio is in "sleep-timer." You can adjust the time it stays on or you can hold the On/Off button down for a few seconds as you turn it on. (You'll notice the "bed" icon no longer appears.)
