There are two types of reset to TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. hi welcome to fixya
you will need to provide the original remote sir in order to unlock the parental code. it needs a remote to set up the unlock code try to have one with your tv supplier. you can ask also to the supplier they might know how to bypass the code. hope this will help thanks.
Actually, your TV's closed-captioning is turned on and it's set to "text" mode. This causes the set to blank out the area where the text would go if there was any. Most remote controls have a single button to turn captioning on, so it's easy to get into this mode without knowing it. Press that button or use the TV menu to go through the caption settings to turn them off, and the box should go away. (Parental controls don't just blank out a part of the screen; they disable the channel completely. I hate it when a technician won't say "I don't know" and then gives out wrong information.)
Here is the procedure to reset the parental lock code: 1. Bring up a screen where the unit asks you to enter in the parental code. You can either insert a restricted disc, or enter the DVD setup menu and go to "parental control" under custom setup. 2. When the screen asks for the code, press the SELECT button, then enter in the code "7444". 3. The level adjustment under Parental Control dictates the strictness of the player. The lower the value, the more strict it will be. Either increase the value to lower the restriction, or disable the lock entirely by setting it to "off". 4. Once you have made your adjustments, be sure that the DVD tray is empty, and press the RESET button on the front of the Playstation 2. It is imperative the tray is clear of any DVD or game for the unit to save your settings.
If you forgot your password for this feature, press the following
buttons on the remote, one at a time. (Note: You must be in the
password entry screen) Press, Mute, Display,Clear and Reset, this
unlocks parental controls and you can now re-enter a new password. OR TRY THIS.. Press
and hold Menu on the TV AND volume down on the remote for 3 seconds.
Nothing will appear on the screen, and the Parental Controls will
unlock, and you can re-enter a new password with the LOCK PARENTAL

I finally found out how to reset the V-chip password on this princess DT1350-P Tv. All you have to do is turn the TV on and turn to a channel that doesn't prompt the V-chip password (even if it's snowy) and hold down the volume (down -) button on the main unit while holding down the number "0" on the remote control. It might take a few tries, and you might need to change the TV channel for some reason but if done correctly, either the TV will turn off, or the menu screen will pop up and ask if you want to set the vchip password, either way you should be able to watch your TV now! :)
That when you enabled the Parental Control ON. Try to turn it off. But you need the 4 digit code do that. And if you dont know try to call 800 company number and ask how to reset the TV for factury default. Good luck
Hope this may help you

Unplug unit. Hold power button in and plug unit in while holding power button till it beeps or flashes. This will erase eveything and you'll have to start from begining. good luck. This doesn't always work and the unit may have to be reset from the factory
You can try these codes 2211 or 3308 if they do not work you will need to reset the unit. You will need to unplug it for 45 minutes that will reset the TV to factory settings. Then the pass codes I provided should work.
