Every time I go to update my iPad to ios8 it tells me there's an error. I've tried multiple solutions, even resetting my whole entire iPad and nothing will work. How do I fix this?
It also won't download any apps. Not even ones that don't require a software update.

That's because it's simply not powerful enough to handle ios8. I know apple gave the update but unless they give a new bug fixing update to fix the crashing, your stuck with ios8 and a crashing iPad.
I have my iPad 2 with ios7 and I'm not planning to update it.
iOS 8 is a failure on apple's part. They screwed up something major and now anyone who has ios8 basiclly has a fancy paper weight until apple fixes it.
