Xp-800 cd/dvd printing

The tray is for the DVD or CD itself, not for a label. The printer prints directly on the CD or DVD, you must use ink jet compatible blank disks, the white ones with no printing. You don't need a tray to print the label.

I am trying to make labels for cd's but they are not printing correctly. The sheets show the cd to the side of the page but it's only printing straight down the middle so it's not letting me print...

I had the same problem. The solution I came up with was to use Microsoft Publisher to print the labels. First I drew a circle about the size of the cd and another inside it for the centre. I printed it out on a plain sheet of A4 paper and measured held it over the label to see how they matched up. I dragged the circles in publisher using trial and error until the circles came out in the same place as the circles of the labels. Then I designed the label inside the circle using publisher and when I printed it on the label it came out in the circle.

If you don't have publisher just check the paper shown in your print dialog and make sure you have changed it to the label type you're using rather than A4 Plain which is the standard.

Error message Imagecache.ic not accessed. Software: CDLabel Print

The Canon Programm "CD-Label Print" has issues with Windows 7.

I solved it this way:

  1. Find the "CDLabelPrint.exe"most likely under "C:\Program Files\CD-LabelPrint"
  2. Right-Click on the File and choose Properties
  3. Select "Compatibility" and tick "Run Program ... Windows XP (SP3)"
  4. Push "OK"
  5. You should be fine now

Epson 220 not printing cd labels anymore

Clean the white areas on the tray with a light solvent cleaner like windolene/windex liquid. Also try giving the tray a helping hand as it is started to be fed into the printer

Mac OS 10.5 Leopard

First, install "epson easyprint" from the epson website. Its found under drivers and support for your unit.

Then click ok on that error message about "driver dealing with..."
After you click ok on the message, you will get another window where you will find a "manual print" button. Click on this manual print button and this will take you to the next window where you have to select "A4 as the paper size" and "CD/DVD as the paper type and paper path" . After this, click print... it should start to print! This is just a workaround until epson gets a patch for leopard for print cd........hopefully
