Question about Fisher and Paykel GWL11 Top Load Washer

Need to replace drain hose

We have a fisher & Paykel ecosmart GWL11 washing machine. Our cat unfortuately placed a couple of holes in the external drain hose and we need to replace it. I have contacted Fisher and Paykel and have priced out a replacement, however I can't figure out how to remove the clip and drain hose to replace it. Any suggestions?

Our cat got behind the washer and was trying to get out . He clawed his way out with a few holes in the hose, We got a hold of the company we bought it from and they said we would have to buy the wiring and hose at a price of $65.00 dollars. That is a little much for us .We have it cobble up and is working, we cut some of the hose off and added another hose. But we may have a small leak. Please advice of this matter if possible. we live in the USA in Oregon. Thank You

Your diverter valve is cloged with lint and not fully closed and is letting wash water go down the drain.

Check your belts and replace if faulty
turn the pump by hand with belt off to see if pump is jammed

My ecosmart GWL11 Fisher and Paykel washing machine is leaking water from the bottom, I think during the spin cycle, but am not sure--there is a puddle of water when I come out to put clothes in dryer. ...

Double check your drain hose is both attached and that there are no splits in the hose. I have found that even the smallest split/hole leaks huge amounts of water. If the hose has come off you will obviously need to reattach it, if it is split i found it best to replace rather than repair the hose.

I had the same problem. After bailing out the water, I tipped the machine and saw a knee high panty hose caught up in the fan on the bottom. I removed that, checked to make sure the fan could spin freely, and viola! problem solved!

Washer leaking from top

Sounds like it's plugged and the water is thrown by the centrifugal force. Sometimes stuff can get between the drum and tub, plugging the drain. This can be sporadic, sometimes no problem cuz the item is away from the drain hole during extract.
Sometimes minor partial disassembly will allow you to see between the drum and tub. A pick up tool can snag things down deep.

My fisher paykel eco smart is GWL11 not GWL15

Press "end of cycle" for 5 seconds or more to clear the screen. Check your exit hose spigot, it may be clogged. This is if your filter is all clean. There should be air for passage in the standpipe behind. Your hose should not fit airtight into the standpipe and neither too deep into it. Snaking out your standpipe would be good too.

Rate me pl.....if helped.
