The fact that Please Wait appears on the screen that the power board is fine. I would unplug the tv for 4 hours and plug it back in to see if the same thing happens. It does appear that you need to replace the main board,
had same problem. I figured it out. While pressing the home key on the bottom of the tablet, press the on/off button until a black screen appears with green words on the side, which says upgrading...please wait...wait. It should take you to the Pandigital screen with a small bar underneath it with green going across. It should work.
1
Write your product key in a place where you can refer to it during the installation.
2
Insert
your installation CD into your computer's drive. Allow it to be
recognized by the computer. You will see the setup screen appear.
Enter your product key. After you enter into your product key into the space provided, choose "Continue."
Read the software terms agreement. Choose the "I accept the terms of the agreement" option at the bottom. Choose "Continue."
3
Decide
the type of installation. If the system detects older versions of Word
installed, you will be given the option to "Upgrade." You will also see
"Customize" if you want to exclude certain components, such as themes,
office tools, fonts, etc. Choose "Customize and uncheck the components
that you wish to exclude. If not, choose continue and choose "Upgrade."
Choose "Continue" and the next screen will ask you to choose whether to
remove or keep previous versions of Word. If you choose to keep older
versions, they may conflict with the new versions or cause some newer
applications to run slower. Choose the remove option, then click
"Continue" to go the configuration screen. If there are no older
versions of Word installed, you will simply see the option to choose
"Install" and "Customize." Choose "Install," then "Continue."
4
Wait
until the configuration process is complete. A progress bar is
displayed at the bottom of the screen. Once the installation is
complete, you will be presented with a screen that states the
installation was completed successfully. Choose "Close" or choose "Go
to Office online" to go directly to Microsoft's main website.
5
Activate
your product. If you are connected to the Internet, you will be
presented with an activation screen that allows you to activate your
product online. If you are not connected to the Internet, you will see
an option to activate it by telephone. You may choose to activate later
and use the product 25 times before being forced to activate to
continue using Word.
6
Access Microsoft Word by choosing "Start" and then "Programs." Locate Word in the menu and verify that it opens properly.
My issue is similar.. however after trying a couple of times it will work. (yes everything is plugged in) It will function for a good 10 minutes before just powering off (blackout) screen. If you attempt to turn it on after it blacking out, the blue led for the power button will blink a couple of times and it will remain off. However if you wait 5-10 minutes and turn it back on, it will repeat itself...
I have it hooked up to a radeon X1650 graphics controller as a secondary digital controller, and its hooked up by VGA cable.
I also have two other displays besides this one (one primary and extended that dont have any issues whatsoever.. they continue to function while the syncmaster 193p takes its time snoozing.... please help.
Had the same problem. You will have to hard reset - in doing so you will lose all data on your device. Sorry I know no other way.
Step 1: Charge your device overnight. Step 2: While holding down the reset button (back of unit) hold the power button down. Release the reset and wait for the Palm screen to appear. When it does, release the power. Press the "up" button when prompted for full restore.
You should now be working. Word of warning: I continue to have problems with HotSynch. The version recommended by Palm (v. 4.1.4) locks up my system, as if it is emulating another device (no buttons work, screen wonky, etc.).
I have had this problem recently myself and would like you to know that
it is possible to fix. The white screen error or otherwise known as
"white screen of death" is caused by the lcd color screen on the ipod
itself. That is why its functions still work but the screen does not.
Once you replace the color screen it will be as good as new.
