Ground wires should be connected to the ground bar.
Neutral wires are connected to the neutral bar.

Locations with a single electrical panel / service usually have the neutral bar bonded to ground and ground and neutral wires are connected to the same bar. Some have two bars that are connected together electrically to form a single bar. You'll see ground and neutral wires connected to the same bar.

Secondary panels in these locations (home with a second panel in a garage, in-law apartment, etc.) must have separate bars and at no time shall a ground wire be connected to a neutral bar or a neutral wire be connected to a ground bar.

Can I replace the plug *only* on this range with a 3-prong plug? I believe I need a copper strap to ground from the neutral wire on the back of the range to the frame, but I want to know if it's OK to

When you buy a new appliance that needs a cord, usually the screw that connects the neutral (white wire) is bridge with the cabinet or ground, with a piece of copper, that should be removed when you are going to install a 4 prong cord and the green from the cord goes to ground or chassis.
Neutral and ground have the same potential in normal condition.
Since 4 prong is safer than 3 prong, and is required to meet code,
I suggest replacing the female plug for a 4 prong instead.

Honeywell l641a1005 schematic

The boiler frame should have an EARTH ground. Everything in the system uses the frame for all the needed grounds. A wire from anywhere on the frame to a good connection on a water line is normally what is used when the boiler is installed.

How do I connect a 4 wire cord to a whirlpool dryer - there is no grounding strap. There is a green grounding wire connected on the bulkhead. Can I connect the green wire from the 4 wire cord to this green...

Yes, infact you can connect the green wire anywhere to the body of the dryer. That is a safety ground that will or is supposed to, take away the risk of getting shocked if one of the hot wires would short tothe body of the dryer anywhere.

Inconsistant functionality

It sounds like a bad ground wire connection-you want to check the rear of the head unit and make sure that your wire harness is very secure to the unit clip the ground wire and run your own ground wire to somewhere-anywhere where you can safely ground that wire to the chassis I actually attached my ground to the rear of the cigarette lighter because you KNOW that it has a dam good ground to manage all the current it takes to light them coils orange like that

Installation instruction for drain

About 4 to 6 inches from the wall. This isn't as important as the rough in for a toilet because you can add extensions or shorten the piping. Don't forget about adding a p-trap down in the ground or under the house depending on your foundation.

Ground wire? where does it go?

you can attach ground wires anywhere on the body as long as they are connected to a bare spot of metal. Usually, the braided one goes from anywhere on the engine block to anywhere on the body.
Basically, the battery ground wire goes to either the body or engine block. Then you need a path for the ground to the other component so there is a complete circuit.
