I need a pusher for the food processor attachment (Bosch MUZ 7 MM2) that goes with an under counter Bosch Food Processor MEK7000. Where Might I get one please?

Nothing to add. I just cannot find anyone who has this part. Apparently, the under-counter food processor is no longer made, nor is the food processor attachment. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The pusher/plunger is still available at Bosch Hausgeraete GmbH in Germany. Part No. 00621924, Price Euro 1,65. If I can help you please don't hesitate. Shipping to North America is between Euro 15,79 and Euro 18,99. Enclosed you'll find the Bosch UK Homepage in english, the prices are much higher than in Germany. Motor works but will not turn on

You can test the motor by plugging the food processor in, pressing the on switch and using a pen to press the dark grey or black button on top of the base of the food processor. As long as it spins, the motor is definitely good. Next, unplug the food processor. For the food processor to work, you need to have the work bowl, lid, and pusher sleeve all inserted - if one part of the work bowl is not attached, then the food processor will not spin the blade. Once all three pieces have been inserted, plug it in and turn it on. If the blade is still not spinning, then there is a problem with the element that runs from the back of the pusher sleeve down through the work bowl that triggers the motor button. In that event, you can go to Cuisinart's website and order a new bowl, lid, and/or pusher sleeve - if you see any obvious damage to one part, you can order just that one part. If it is not apparent which part is damaged, order the whole work bowl. The work bowl parts are expensive, so I would just write down the part numbers from Cuisinart's website and find them cheaper elsewhere. There is also a video on the website that shows you how to use the food processors - the first part of the video describes work bowl asssembly. Once you get this food processor working, it is going to last forever. Have fun!

I need an explanation as to how to attach the shredder disc to my

Make sure the work bowl handle faces the front of the processor, the feed tube on the lid faces the back of the food processor, and the pusher sleeve lock faces the front of the food processor. Should then connect to the motor trigger.

Need a instruction book or manual for cuisinart 7 cup food proces

All manuals for models made in last few years are on Cuisinart website.

Removing a Cuisinart Food Processor Work Bowl
You have to remove the pusher first by twisting it off. Then press the sides of the pusher sleeve inward and slide the sleeve up and out of place. Then twist off the lid - all twisting on these food processors works either clockwise or counterlcokwise - not both. Then twist the work bowl to the left (clockwise). Voila!

I can't get my food processor (DLC-2007N) to start. It looks like everything is locked in place, and the light goes on, but the motor won't start.

Remove the work bowl from the base of the food processor, and separate the bowl, lid, and pusher sleeve.
Plug the base into the wall outlet, turn the food processor ON, and then use a pen to press in the dark grey or black button on top of the base of the food processor - if you hear some kind of noise, then your motor is still good.
Put the work bowl on first, with the handle facing the front of the food processor.
Put the lid on, with the lid lined up with the handle of the work bowl.
Put the pusher sleeve in the lid, with the metal piece facing the front of the processor.
Your processor should now turn on.

If it doesn't call Cuisinart and see if you are still in-warranty (3-year warranty).

Good luck!

Food processor

It usually goes something like this, with minor variations depending on model number:
1. Remove the work bowl completely from the base
2. Plug the food processor in and turn it on
3. Use a pen to depress the dark grey/black button on the base – if it spins, proceed
4. Put the work bowl on the base with the handle facing the front of the food processor – slide the work bowl until it locks - the white tabs show in the openings on the bottom of either side of the workbowl
5. Place the lid on the workbowl with the tab slightly left of the center of the workbowl handle – slide the lid counterclockwise until it won’t slide any more
6. Place the pusher sleeve in the feeder tube of the lid with the lock facing the front of the food processor (may vary depending on model)
7. Slide the lock to the right into the locked position
The food processor should now work

Wont run

If you try the instructions below, and the motor test fails, you can send it in to Cuisinart for a trade-in, but the trade-in will be just as expensive as getting a new food processor (unless your product has an extra-long motor warranty):

You can test the motor by plugging the food processor in, pressing the on switch and using a pen to press the dark grey or black button on top of the base of the food processor. As long as it spins, the motor is definitely good. Next, unplug the food processor. For the food processor to work, you need to have the work bowl, lid, and pusher sleeve all inserted - if one part of the work bowl is not attached, then the food processor will not spin the blade.
