Good question. Only way to know for sure with these products is to do a test on some out the way, unnoticeable spot, and test there for color change. Then be guided accordingly.

How do you fix peeling stucco on exterior of house.

Scrape everything off that is loose. See if there is any damage to the surface underneath, ie. rotted wood -cut it out & replace it. Spray the area with bleach if mold is present & dry. Once you have repaired the surface, coat it with bonding agent(cement area at Lowes or Home Depot) blue is better than white. Now get a bag of stucco and replicate the pattern of the surrounding area.(not easy) Stucco can be troweled on, splattered on, sprayed on, painted-on and in a huge variety of thicknesses. You may even need to trowel a base coaton to even out the surfaces to the surrounding area before you apply the finishing coat. When choosing materials take water proofing into account. Water damage is the usual culprit to stucco loss. Providing a better surface than what was originally there is recommended. Good luck.

How could i put a glitters with my wall at my facebook

  • SPRAY CLEAR GLITTER ON DRY WALLS -- Go to your local craft store and pick up a couple cans of spray glitter. You want a clear base so you can keep your current wall color. Look for a spray that says something like clear glitter finish or clear glitter sealer. Then just spray your walls with the clear glitter spray.

  • PAINT YOUR WALLS WITH GLITTER SPRAY PAINT -- If you want to change the color of your walls you can spray paint them with colored glitter spray paint so you get the painting and glitter done in one easy step. However, spray paint can be expensive and you may find it is difficult to get a nice even coat of paint. So this method would be good for a small room or an accent wall.

  • PAINT YOUR WALLS THEN ADD GLITTER -- This is the cheapest way to get the glittery look you want. Buy your wall paint in the color of your choice. Then buy tubes of glitter in the craft section. As you paint your walls, do one small section at a time. Then pour out a bit of glitter on a paper plate and gently blow on the glitter so it blows onto the freshly painted wall. The glitter will stick to the wet paint. Then move on to the next section and do the same thing! If you are applying two coats of paint to your walls add the glitter to the second coat.

I USED 5RR MIXED EQUAL PARTS WITH 5B. WITH BLEACH FOOLS. WHEN RINSED THE RED ATTACHED TO THE BLOND PIECES AND TURNED THEM PINK. NOW HOW SHOULD I GET RID OF THE PINK?

when you bleached your hair you removed all the pigment from your hair which is why your hair turned pink. You need to use a color the same level you want to achieve but make sure it is an N ( to put back the primary colors ) this is called a filler. after you rinse and dry then apply the 5RR . it helps to rinse out not shampoo joico color esp the red series then use joico cuticle sealer. don't shampoo your hair for 2 days , it should help with the red fading. always use a filler when coloring bleached hair.

My newly tiled shower(app.2 yrs. old) needs to be reclaulked. The caulk used has broken down & looks like it melted onto the floor?? I would like to know what the best caulk is for re-caulking this...

You will need to clean as much of the old caulking from joints that you can, After scraping old caulking out then wash with cleaner such as soft scrub and rinse thororghly. Let dry and wipe any residue with clean cloth.
The best all around tub and tile caulk and adhesive that I've found is called polyseamseal. It comes in almond which is pretty much the same as other caulks bone or beige. It applies easily and you can wipe off excess with fingertip as it is a latex base product.
What I do is apply as thin a bead as you need and wipe with damp fingertip, cleaning excess from fingers often. Continue wiping till you are satisfied with joint. VERY IMPORTANT: Keep completly dry for 24 hours. It will skin over in a couple of hours but it really needs the full drying time.
After it is dry there will be a light film around joint, use damp rag to wipe this film clean. It's not unusual for it to have a slight film on it more than once so don't worry about it.
I have been using this product for 30 years and if used right it has always made my customers happy. I hope this helps you. Thanks

How do I clean shoes made fom fabric? My shoes are a light beige color, almost white, made from fabric. Bought them at Payless Shoe Source Can I wash them in the washing mashine? If yes, how? Wht cycle? DO...

When fabric is of canvas material they can be washed in the washer, suggested detergent to use Baby Shampoo as it is much more gentle on the fabric. Use warm water only as hot will shrink as it does with clothes washed in hot water will also make them stiff and brittle, baby shampoo will also lend a nice scent which will remove any shoe odors noses could detect short wash only, do not dry in dryer without a rack as the tumble action can damage the rubber sole, best if dried in a warm room or outside not in direct sunlight as sun can damage the fabric, best very warm day for drying Good Luck !

I have a lovely Swanstone kitchen sink that got a chip in it about a quarter of an inch down. My son sanded it according to directions and then filled it. The only trouble is the filler darkened slightly...

if the filler can be easily removed then it wasn't cleaned and dried properly.

try it again, be sure to remove ALL the sanding dust from the surface and inside the chipped area.

be sure to get the correct color, some colrs are close, but slightly different when dry

    Waterproofing house stucco

First of all, this is a problem the guys from Home Depot wouldn't know how to fix.

Years ago, maybe when this post was originally written you may have needed to do a two coat system.

Your best and actually easiest option will be to power wash your stucco, to remove any dirt from the surface.
Then you will need to mask everything up tight because you're about to spray all the stucco. Cover any concrete and plants nearby, (anything that is closer than 10 feet from the stucco.)

Then go to Sherwin-Williams and purchase Loxon XP this is a one coat system however if you have larger cracks in the stucco you will either want to caulk them with an elastomeric caulk (if you don't have too many) or apply a second coat of Loxon XP. If you're a do it yourself kinda of person you can go to home depot and rent a spray machine. While your spraying your gonna want to back roll it. www.outbackpaintingusa.com
