Delonghi DE500P quit pumping water. For the last two week it sounded like a bearing was going out. Would just cleaning it out solve the problem as described in the cleaning problem solutions

It certainly may solve the problem. It's worth the effort.

My DeLonghi DE500P dehumifier whch I purchased last fall is no longer collecting water. Everything seems to be functioning as outlined in the instructions. The rooms humidity is about 55%. Any ideas?

Hi,

That code indicates a sensor failure and that part to fix it will cost around $200.00

You can darn near buy a new one for that... til you get it and take the time to install it...

The inside of the tank is rusty looking The water has left a rusty film over the entire interior of the collection tank and I need to know how to remove it. Is there a way of safely taking the tank apart? Any other advice regarding this issue would be appreciated. Thanks
