This means the type of picture on your camera is not supported by the viewing software on your computer. There are many shareware and freeware picture viewers and editors. You can tell the type of picture it is by the file ext (filename.ext). I suggest you search for a viewer for that picture type. I like bleepingcomuter.com and filehippo.com as sources for shareware. With that said there are many places to find good viewers. If you are looking for a full featured editor check out Gmip

Need to open images that keep saying unsupported

That means you don't have a program installed that can view the files. Google for your file formats... bmp, jpg, mkv, mpg, flv, etc. to find the required software and then install it. That should solve the problem.

What does it mean this file format is not supported? i can`see a picture from microsoft word using windows photo gallert .

You cant open a file if your software is not compatible with that kind of format.. Although they are all picture/image file but, some image loader cant open some file due to unsupported file format like .gif .dib .bmp etc.. The most common image file format is .jpg or .jpeg and. png..

I was trying to use a picture which I sent to my phone through bluetooth as a wallpaper, but whenever I tried to, it said "unsupported resolution". How do I get it to work?

Meaning the picture is too large to show as wallpaper to your phone unit. try to download a small pic like 150kb or 200kb, its because your phone cant display a large file. thanks

Does your Smart phone comes out with a usb cord? Connect your smart phone to the computer using the usb cord. In my computer locate the removable disc that represents your laptop. Open the files that you are going to upload to your pc and save it in my picture.

I have a samsung wave 525 touch screen mobile. I tried to play a video that I transferred from my laptop but it is not working. it said file format unrecognized. the file was an avi file. So I went online...

convert your video to 3 gp or mp4 format by any video converter
while converting set the resolution less than your cell's resolution that is less than 400*240
*best resolution 320*240
use total video converter for best performence
u can also use abc 3 gp converter for easy converting

Unsupported file format

You phone will only support certain file formats.
Go to Samsung and get the manual Click Here
The owners manual will tell you what music files, video files, picture files are supported by the software.
Then you may have to convert your files to work in your phone.
Let me know if this helped by rating the post...Thanks
