Panasonic KX-P7110 printer won't print from the auto feed tray, shows error when printing is attempted.

Hello,
Please check the entire length of the paper feed path from input to output for a small piece of paper that is stuck causing a "Paper Jam".
You are lucky that you can still print manually as this usually shuts a printer down until the jam is found and removed!
Good Luck!

Paper jam light continues to flash when there is no jam

Sometimes opening and closing the top or ink cartridge lid will reset the printer or unplugging the unit might do the same thing. If those don't work, you may want to try using the advance button to manually feed paper thru the unit. I hope this helps.

Is saying clear paper jam when no paper is jammed , i have tried switching everything off and back on but still comes back, have checked all around for jammed paper but cant find!

Try this:

Unplug the printer from the wall and wait for about 5 minutes before plugging back in. This may be sufficient to cause a "hard" reset of the unit (turning the unit off and back on from the front panel switch is a "soft" reset as the circuit boards still have power to them.)

If that does not work, unplug again and look closely in the printer's paper path. There may be a small shred of paper hung that is blocking a sensor unit.

Flashing Light

Hopefully just has a jam. Usually people miss them under the process unit (toner) or behind the paper tray. Pull all the way out and look. If you have really looked everywhere you probably have a sensor out of place or dirty.
from manual-- Attention - Flashing  A paper jam has occurred. The cassette is not inserted properly or the paper has run out.
also read page 22-27 in your manual for jam removal
