The only appliance that heats water internally for cleaning is a dishwasher. Washing machines don;t heat water. It's not efficient. Various industries have work their hardest to keep you from using hot water or the chemicals(phosphates) that help you clean better without it. Dishwashers warm 3 gallons no more than 20 degrees during a 30 minute cycle. Some washing machines are designed to avoid hot water completely and call themselves energy effient to get people to buy them. My wife would cut my heart out if I brought one home.
Testimonial: "Many thanks for your kind reply, but I still don't know if it does not have a water heater then how could the dirt be washed out from clothes with cold water in the winter?!!! More over, we know that many old and new washing machines still do have a water heater!"
