Menu bottons will not work flashing open disk tray

I have one that does that but I can still use the VCR for manual (not timed) recoding.
Get used to using VCR again.
It also serves as an AV1 to RF converter on dish units to RF TV's.

The cst in light keeps blinking how to turn it off

Hello

I managed to find a PDF manual for your VCR Combo, However i couldnt find anything to indicate a reason for the Cst in light flashing. I did find however find that the TIMER REC Light flashes if T-SET is pressed for a timer recording, but there is no tape in the DVD/VCR. It also flashes when all timer recordings or One-Touch Recordings are finished. So possibly this could be the light you see flashing.

The PDF can be found Here

Hope this helps

The remote has stopped working even with fresh batteries.

Some times your remote gets wet are if its to old you need to take a little sand paper and take out your batterys and lightly sand the battery springs and that does help always make sure if you have a universal remote make sure you hit the tv,vcr, dvd botton. before you hit the power botton the led light that you target at your tv make sure that it has not been hit are as been broken if it has it will not work at all

I have the Trio Outdoor Lightshow Tree from Gemmy. It worked great until we had to replace the batteries in the remote. I have tried to reset both the box and the remote, but no luck.

push the reset botton on the box in the tree, on the back if the remote there is a reset bottom, push the reset botton on the tree until the light start to blick then push the reset botton on the remote, thats what i did to mine

Burn dvd from vhs

i'm assuming you have a vcr to play your vhs tapes, just plug your audio/video cord from your vcr(out), plug into the audio/video vc10(in), start playing vcr and press rec botton whenever you want to start to record. make sure you can only use dvd+r. choose the quality for the length of time, at the end press 'function' to finalize the disc, then you are done.

VHS to DVD Dubbing Problem

I have the same problem. I saw a solution that said I needed to set my cable to a non-premium channel like NBC, ABC, PBS, CSPAN in order to allow the dubbing to occur without the +VR problem. At first, I thought it was a stupid solution; but guess what, It worked. I just set my cable box to from HBO to CSPAN,restarted the dubbing from VCR to DVD and it worked. Now the question is: Why do I have to change the channel when I'm dubbing from VCR to DVD?
This worked for me..still trying to figure out why it worked???
