My proline freezer has stopped working with green light on but red warning light on and not freezing.

Check that the air vent is free from anything blocking it at it maybe over heating.

it would apear the stat is the fault. the thermostat is monitoring the temperature of the inner liner and tubing. if the compresor isnt actuly staying on the only part controling it is the stat. if you have the knoledge i would sugest you bypass the contol with the unit unpluged and the plug it in to conferm the fault was the control. p/s you may have a friend who has some knoledge . the control is a simple switch. just enshure the unit is unpluged. hope this helped

The defrost heat element has failed or the fan unit has failed, either way it is easly diognosed and not too costly if you pick the right repairer.
If you turn the unit off for 2 days and defrost it total, then turn it back on, should work fine for 4-5 days then return to problem again, confirming my report, you can then tell repairer you are not stupid and hence, not get ripped off.....Russ

I've got a proline Freezer and the red warning light is on..and is not freezing if it neededgas is it expensive.

how much is everything in your freezer worth???or how much will you be putting in your freezer worth??? it is cheaper to fix the freezer than losing all that money on food

No alarm sounding but red light is flashing?

Warning light (red)
If the temperature warning light (4) lights up, it
indicates that the temperature within the freezer has
reached a level where the safe food storage is no
longer ensured. When the freezer is first switched on, the warning light will stay on until the temperature has dropped to
a safe level for the storage of frozen food.

Temperature acoustic alarm
This appliance incorporates an alarm which gives off
an audible signal whenever the warning light comes
on. This signal can be temporarily stopped by
depressing the push button for fast-freezing (6).
The fast-freezing push button can be released as
soon as the warning light is off.

Open door acoustic alarm
This appliance also incorporates an alarm which
sounds if the door is left open for more than 60
seconds. The signal will be stopped when the door is
closed again.

The red light is usually just a power on indicator and should always be on as long as the is voltage is being supplied to the unit.

If the temperature warning light ? lights up, it indicates that the temperature within the freezer has reached a level where the safe food storage is no longer ensured.
