Why is my dryer not working but the alarm E08 is on.

Normally E08 you have push the reset button on the back of the dryer under the small square plate that sits on top of the dryer.

Hoover WMH168D error code E08

I posted this elsewhere by mistake, I have a Hoover Optima which had an E08 fault, the forums suggested a Tachometer issue. I fixed the fault it was just the motor brushes. i made a video including testing the tacho and changing the brushes that cost me a tenner. easy fix hi I had this fault google said it was tachometer fault. the e08 fault on my hoover optima was not the tachometer, i checked it, but the fix was very easy, the motor brushes were worn out and i changed them for 10 quid, I made a video of it its on you tube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xYn-f78GB4U if its any use.
