Hi. It sounds like there was a voltage spike. I suspect that the crystal display has blown. This may be repaired at a electronics shop, or a new dash cluster would be needed.

Depends on the game you are playing .. Chk the min graphics card spec needed.. that card you have is pretty old to play heavy games.
Try playing in windowed mode if game supports with low graphic settings

Strange. Are you sure it's the TiVo at fault? I'm thinking when you turn off the unit and back on again you're actually forcing your TV/Monitor into the correct input. When it next goes into black and white, try selecting different TV AV inputs, normally a square or circle with an arrow in it on the remote control.
If this fixes it, I'd suggest that you have another piece of equipment connected to your TV that's fighting for control.

Sorry you haven't had an answer to your inquiry yet. You may not even require a remedy any longer, but in the event you do I'll post it.

The "F5" in the smw272 wall unit is indicating the on-board watchdog has detected a oven temperature sensor fault/failure. The remedy issued by Thermador's tech support and authorized technicians service manual's is to first replace the oven temperature sensor. If the display should still display after wards, replace the main relay board.

It may be too late to suggest, but you may be best served having an authorized thermador tech look at it.

The external VGA port is enabled by holding the Fn key down and pressing the F4 key at the same time. There are three modes that can be toggled through:

• Internal Display only
• Internal Display and External Display
• External Display only

First, shut the breakers off and back on. This may reset the electronics. This is either a dual breaker or two linked breakers.
