Try calling the provider that you got the phone from and asking for the unlock code -- they should give it to you. If that doesn't work, you could go to this: http://www.gsmliberty.net/shop/motorola-razr-v3xx-imei-unlock-codes-p-1978.html website and pay them $10 to provide you with the code, though that's probably not the best option.
you can not get to the factory reset menu if it is starting in flash mode,so go to www.modmymoto.com download p2k phone tools.that will let you flash the phone back
your phone is starting in flash mode..try and hold the palm key and the star key at te same time while turning on your phone.. that is the way u start a razor in flash mode,,mabey it will take it out of that mode
At this point, I'd make sure the * # and Power keys are not depressed by any chance. Maybe they are stuck. I'm afraid it might be a hardware issue, the only suggestions I could make is to flash a monster-pack but this would most likely not work and will erase anything on the phone anyway.
If not, try using Flash & Backup 3.0.7 and see if it detects your phone. If it does, try backing up ur current software and then try to flash a compatible MP (Monster Pack) from http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/downloads.php?do=cat&id=142
Try that.
I should first point out that there are other options to unlocking yourself,
1) You can get the unlock code from your provider for free if they areprepared to give it to you. If they are then that is the safest andbest option.
2) There are also remote unlocking services - google GSM liberty
3) If you have or know of someone or a store with a smart clip these can be used.
To unlock yourself:
*You need to downgrade your boot loader - this is very risky - no liability is accepted for any problems that may occur*
Ensure your phone is fully charged before starting.
I recommend before beginning you first make a backup of your phoneas described in the How To: Use Flashbackup To Backup Your Phone topicin the tutorials section.
This assumes all necessary drivers are already installed.
1) Start in bootloader mode (hold # and * while powering on)
2) Identify your current bootloader (e.g. 8.26 or 7.E0)
3) If you have bootloader 7.D0 already skip to step 6
7) Start in bootloader mode (hold # and * while powering on)
8 ) Run Moto Unlocker click connect and yes
PROBLEMS:
If after running motounlocker you still have issues there are two options: 1) Flash an old monsterpack (circa 40.79R), run the unlocker again then flash a recent monsterpack 2) Find P2k Easy Tools cracked version using google
take the phone to a mobile store to have it unlock the correct way the phone was in it's unlocking state but the person did something wrong and ahve it stuck in it's test mode.
phone sig error mean your Phone MonsterPack(software) is demaged. you need to flash back using RSD lite to make back to normal. give me what software version you have on your cell and what bootloader you have..eg.bootloader 0A.30/0A.52..SW:R479 and etc. i these so i can upload one for you
