Look for small torn off paper @ the sensor, 2 ) clean the sensor 3) check the actuator it might be deformed 4) check proper position of tension spring of the actuator. Some Printer & copier has reset procedure after removing the paper jam.
Sometimes there is a tiny bit of paper caught in the jam sensor mechanism that cannot be immediately seen. This is not uncommon and will cause repeated jamming and continuous jam indications. It takes a bit of detective work to locate it sometimes. If there is no paper, then the sensor may have been damaged by the jam itself. Most printers today are so inexpensive, it is almost cheaper to replace the while unit than to buy refill ink cartridges. That said, if you cannot locate the problem, get a new printer.
OK, often when removing a paper jam this can happen:
1) - when pulling the jammed paper out you can leave behind a small piece or loosen up another small piece from a previous jam. This piece can then become the 'new' jam by clogging the jam sensor or switch. Use a small flashlight to look done the previous jammed area to see if this is the case.
2) - when pulling the jammed paper out you can 'mis align' or damage the jam sensor (or switch) so that it always registers a jam. this fix may require a technician or repair shop to fix.

The simple answer is to tell you to remove the paper jam. Make sure you get the entire page out of the printer.
There are two types paper jams.
1) An actual paper jam.
2) If paper does not reach any of the paper path sensors in the time allotted to reach it, the sensor reports a jam because something prevented the paper from reaching the sensor.
A quick test would be to place some marks on the top sheet of paper then initiate a feed cycle. If the paper stays in the tray, then you have a paper pick problem and more than likely you will need to have the printer serviced.
remove all paper from printer,then check the paper path,if error persists then u should check the sensors,remember when the paper jams its important to get it out in one peice if not you can jam a sensor causing a constant paper jam error,hope this helps
I know the problem, Its the Exit paper sensor! if u make a short circuit on the pin 2 and 3 of the CN2 when the paper reaches the sensor it wont jam. Chainging the sensor resolves the continous paper jam or try to clean it!
