I just fixed my plasma with same looking problem. Mine is a 42PX11. Cost me $320.00 in parts from Fishwick Electonics. Replaced three circuit boards, crossed my fingers and turned it on and am happy to report it has been working fine since for about 6 months now.

If the menu and OSD are OK, that probably eliminates the panel and TCON board. That still leaves the A3U board which does all the switching and intial processing of the video signal and the B board which does final video process and panel drive. The is one simple way of narrowing it down: hook up a PC to the 15 pin VGA connector (make sure the PC is set for a 60 hertz refresh rate). If you can see the problem when using the computer input, it is most likely the B board. The B board is the most likely cause of video distortion problems. Please be sure to rate this solution. Thanks!

Hello arunaik_6,
This looks as if a component has become thermally sensitive. The best way to find this is to use component cooling spray. It looks as if the problem is localized to the tuner section. Take the back off of the TV and turn the TV on, wait until the problem occurs and lightly spray the tuner section with the component cooling spray watch for any reaction, then if this does not work spray the Microprocessor and the LVDS section and watch for a reaction. The set should go back to normal when it does that section is the problem, try to localize the problem to one component. Then replace that component.
I hope this helps,
Thank you,

I do not know who was helping you before but the problem you are having can be caused by three boards in the tv each by themselves or in combination. Those are the control board with part#6871QCH053G, the Y- board part #6871QYH036D or the Z-board part#6871QZH041B. Without being able to do voltage and signal measurements directly for you, the Z-board is likely the culprit here. But I will tell you that even experienced tv technicians find themselves swapping one or more of the boards until they fix the problem. I am assuming here of course that you have not had problems with your tv before. The part #s I have given you are for the improved boards that LG has assembled to take care of future similar problems and come with their latest training manual for technicians. God bless and good luck.
