If your selling something on Ebay I take it you do have a Ebay user ID and simply logging into Ebay on your user name and password you can then see your items listed for sale, Also, when you listed any item Ebay would send your email account registered with Ebay all the details of that item as to listing number, Ebays listing fees and start and ending dates. Check your email junk folder if you can not find emails from Ebay.

How to put free listings on eBay

Hi there dear eBay members! I am serverbot an eBay guru and I will share to you my tips and tricks on how to put your items for free on eBay!! Yes, that is correct, for FREE!
First, lets check the newest promotion that eBay has, it is the free insertion fee for auction style listings until January 2011!! Any price, just make sure that you have 4.5 on all of your DSRs and you are qualified for the 100 free listings regardless of starting price. But what if you already used 100 of the free 100 listings? You can use it again on the next month, meaning it refresh every month.

If you already used 100 of it and likes to list more, then you will be charged for the next listing. How to avoid getting charge again and again? Use the Free relist policy, list the item once and if it didn't sell, relist it and DON'T relist it the second time since it will no longer be covered by Free relist. It will only works if your item sells the first time you relist it and you will only get the first insertion fee.

But what if you made a mistake in your listing and you can no longer edit it or you like it to be Fixed price but you listed it as Auction? How to get credit for it? You need to end the listing within 12 hours since you listed the item and contact eBay for credit. Yes, you can contact eBay and they will credit it for you as long as it's not yet past 12 hours.

Just ready your item number. If it's your first time to file a cancel transaction case and the buyer declined it accidentally, you can also ask eBay to credit it for you since you can no longer file another case! It can be a one time courtesy credit or an education credit.
How about Overdraft fees?eBay don't charge it, it's your bank. You need to contact your bank so that they can credit it for you but to avoid it, check your funding source in your PayPal account or check your eBay automatic payment method on file.
Lastly, the most devilish trick to get free credits, you just need to contact eBay and ask for credit. It can be a one time courtesy or education credit if you haven't requested one. Dead serious, you can get free listings for doing this. It's mean but it's a trick.

Watch list doesn't work

When you click on **Add to watch list** does a check mark appear and does is change from add to watch list to watching right there on the item page. If it does then check your watch list under ""My eBay""

You are partially correct in your understanding: there is a fee just for listing an item to sell. It is not, however, a flat 40 cents. eBay uses a graded insertion (listing) fee system that depends on the starting bid of the item you list. Below is a summary of the tiers, with the starting bid range on the left, and the insertion fee on the right:

$0.01 - $0.99: $0.10
$1.00 - $9.99: $0.25
$10.00 - $24.99: $0.50
$25.00 - $49.99: $0.75
$50.00 - $199.99: $1.00
$200.00 or more: $2.00

Listing upgrades, such as bold titles and additional title lines, will incur additional fees.

eBay currently waives the insertion fee for user's first 50 listings per month. This policy may not be applicable to all sellers, however, and it does not encompass listing upgrades such as those listed above.

I would like to know how to advertise a listing on ebay in america? as well as making a listing in australia?

When you create your listing you will see the shipping selection on it. You can then choose which countries you want to ship to, and they will be listed appropriately.

Ebay listing problem and ebay poor support

You will have to send them a request to credit your "seller fees" This has happened to me many times..It is usually done with high value items like purses and other stuff that has been counterfeited...they put a limit on the sale of those listings

Ebay must suspect that the DVD you are trying to sell if pirated. I recommend trying once again, and if the problem still persists, you will need to contact eBay support once again. Sorry, but there is no solution we can offer, it must be via eBay.
