Will not go past flash screen when powered on.

standard troubleshooting:

1) I've seen power sources appear to power up a system, but are somehow broken just enough to not get the system to POST (do you have another system you could at least borrow the power source from?)

2) pull anything you can so that you just have mobo, power, cpu, memory, and graphics.

2a) try using just one memory chip (and try each chip you have, or best to borrow a chip from a working system); even try different slots

2b) if onboard graphics, try a known working graphics card addon

2c) does the screen power off (like normal sleep) or system shutdown? if latter, try re-thermal pasting the heat sink to the cpu.

You need to do a factory reset.

• Power off the tablet
• Press and hold Power + vol up button until the screen flashes and let go
• That should reset it

Try doing a complete reboot turn the computer completely off when it is off push the power button in with the power cord disconnected on the computer. Was about 2-5 seconds when you see a flash then the computer is reset even if you do not see a flash go ahead and plug the computer back in and restart your computer again. John

i think u need a new phone or have the battery on the charger while u turn it on

hi, probably the transistors on the main power board. if these go bad, the capacitors should be replaced as well. repair shops charge 40-70 dollar to repair. i have repaired in past and they last maybe 2 more years after. may want to get another monitor and throw your up for sale broken on ebay.

Did you try to start it with the battery removed from the pc?

Try a HARD RESET. This will wipe everything clean and you will loose all the data. Start by removing and reinstaling the battery. Then hold the POWER(red) + HOME buttons down to turn the phone on. YOu should see a triangle with a ! in the middle. Then open the slider and enter ALT+L. Then press ALT+W. Hopefullly this will make the phone work. If not then try to flash the phone. If it did not work, then you have other problems

What I have done in the past is to change to project to high power mode for some time and then change it back to low power mode after 20-30 mins. This fixes the flashing light issue, at least temporarily.
