You can't. These transformers aren't user serviceable. You can thank the Federal Government for that. If you can find the special tool to remove the case, you'll be able to open the transformer. For service, contact Lionel customer service or take the transformer to a Lionel Service Center.

Replacing a handle on a kitchenaide microwave

Hello

Unplug the microwave oven from its power outlet or turn off its circuit breaker. Remove the right fuse from the home fuse-box if your microwave is a built-in model.

Open the microwave door and take the top pin off its pivot bracket. Lift up the door and remove it from the bottom bracket. Lay the microwave door with its front side down on a folded towel. Remove the two choke screws from the door frame using a Phillips head screwdriver.

Remove the choke cover with the knife blade, starting from the microwave door's top right corner. Pry out the bottom and top right sides, leaving the side which houses the door handle in place.

Remove the choke tabs from their slots on the microwave door frame using the knife blade. Continue to work clockwise around your microwave door; remove the choker cover when you get to your handle's side to separate it from your choke.

Remove the two handles with the Phillips screwdriver. Remove the handle from the microwave.

Screw the new handle in the position of the original handle. Lay the choke on the microwave door; set the choke cover right on top of it. Insert the choke tabs into their slots on the microwave door frame using the knife blade.

Secure the two choke screws using a Phillips head screwdriver; set the microwave door back on the bottom bracket. Slide the top pin into the microwave's pivot bracket.

Press the top pin down until it pops securely into place.

I cannot ope the door -the wash cycle has not started now I cannot turn the machine on (no red light)

Hi, welcome to Fixya. With Asko machines the issue with the "light" may or may not be related to it not starting as well as the door latch. Sometimes the lens which holds the light in place behind the console cracks and the light falls loose, so although the light still illuminates, you only see a slight glow or not at all as a result. The other issue may be the unit is only getting 1/2 volts. **UNPLUG THE POWER CORD** Check the fuses at the back (there will be 2). They are by the cord in a "holder" that is either gray in color or black. Observe them and you'll notice they have a slot in them so you can use a flat screwdriver to remove the holder/hub (as Asko likes to refer to them), once removed you can check across the fuse with a meter for continuity or replace with a known new/good fuse. If that solves the problem...awesome. Let me know and I'll follow up if needed. **ALSO** If you replace the fuse and in a short time it blows again, you likely need new fuse holders & hubs. They do suffer from metal fatigue over time which in turn causes a poor connection and of course equals undesired resistence, hence...blown fuse. The same can & likely will happen to the dryer if it's an Asko as well FYI. Hope this helps, let me know if I can assist you further. Good Luck. Hi,
There should be two black triangular attachments with little red handles that go on to the sides of the buggy. You use the grey handles at the end of the side arm of the buggy to pull the rear locking pins backwards and then slot the attachments on to the front pin with the red handle pointing forwards. Release the grey handle and it will lock into place. When both sides are in place, simply drop the car seat on to top of the two attachments. Removal of the car seat is by using the red handles.
